Rowlands Pharmacy 227 Banbury Road

Used to be lovely, friendly and efficient where staff knew one by name. Sadly no longer - my prescriptions now take about 8 days and then are still not ready to collect requiring the less-than-friendly single serving staff member to rummage through 4 boxes to find and then still needed signing off. This requires long waits and lengthy queue. Only part of this can be put down to Covid. I have changed to another much more efficient and friendly pharmacy. Rowlands should read its dreadful recent reviews on Next-door.

Terrible pharmacy, my partner queued for ten minutes to buy toothpaste before even being acknowledged when no one else waiting at the till. I then waited for over 40 minutes for a prescription to be told that my prescription wouldn’t be ready until the next day and that the lady at the till had been too busy to tell me. Dreadful service, lack of communication and poor customer service

Absolutely terrible service (it used to fantastic before it was carved up and long-standing, customer-focussed staff were dismissed). The current, don't care staff are unfriendly, have no concept of time, are indifferent and show no concern about customers queuing in the shop and out of the door. One staff member spent the 10 minutes I was there on the phone, not making eye contact with waiting customers. Rowlands Pharmacy Summertown is not for for purpose and certainly des not serve the community. Go to Boots instead.

Worst customer service experience ever. All the staff are incompetent especially that new Spanish lady. Please get rid. Inexperience and slacking. Do something about it Rowlands.
Used other branches of Rowlands ie manzil way and on occasions woodfarm both who were the total opposite of this hideous branch and had a much better experience.

Worse pharmacy in summertowm the staff are rude. I was waiting buy my medication for 35 minutes and I was told to come back in two weeks or go to other Rowland Pharmacy.
Two other customers left without being served after waiting for so long.

Best to avoid. Rude and unprofessional staff. Always have to come 2-3 times to collect prescription as it's never ready after 5-7 days of being approved.

Having had a terrible time with awful delays with prescription readiness, Rowlands have recently become considerably quicker and more efficient. This is great to see and I wish them luck in keeping it up.

This used to be a lovely friendly and efficient chemist. The service is now truly shocking - once I had to visit 5 times to collect my repeat prescription! Latest experience, I tried to collect on Saturday 2 Oct, to be told there was nothing for me and I should call 111. I contacted my surgery on Monday who assured me the prescription had been sent on 20 Sept, nearly 2 weeks before! So I returned and it was there as it had been over the weekend, but I have now found included in my bag of stuff is medication for someone else! Totally incompetent!
