Do Not Go Here For Medical Advice.
Whilst on holiday in Wales, my son developed a bad case of tonsillitis.
They told my son they could do a 20 minute swab test to check for which type of tonsillitis he had, and then give him the appropriate medication.
When they learned that he wasn't Welsh, they said they couldn't provide that service so he had to wait until he got home to his local hospital for him to receive the right medicine.
However, when he told the staff at the hospital about what the pharmacy had told him, they said that a swab test takes a few days to develop and that their advice sounded bogus and like they didn't know what they were talking about.
The chemist also gave him an emergency contact card in case he couldn't manage the symptoms any longer - the facility on the card was about 70 miles away from us.
So, altogether, the chemist was about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

I've been a couple of times, staff is very polite and helpful. Only once had to speak with the chemist, he was very thorough with his advice and indications.

Staff very rude, unhelpful and lacking knowledge. Staff looked at me and other customers as we were a piece of s%*t. This is sadly my local pharmacy but I will be getting my prescription from another local pharmacy a few miles away from now on. Awful place

Abysmal service, appalling attitude. I felt sorry for the staff as they seem genuinely embarrassed by the chemists complete lack of interest in helping me.
I did manage to get my emergency prescription in Aberdyfi. Which is a mere 60 miles away.

Working away from home for 3 days and I discovered i had left my medication at home. My nearest pharmacy was Roland’s so i called in and explained my predicament and both the assistant and the pharmacist couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried. Not only did they have the exact medication the pharmacist didn’t charge me , i wish the chemists in the England were like this. Thank you both for your kindness and first class service x

I was Banned by a locum after a counter assistant threatened to quit when my doctor put me back on suicide watch meaning prescription pick up three times a week instead of weekly. Over a comment I made about dog fouling in Pwllheli. Was shuffled up to the high street instead. At 59 years old this is the first time I have ever been banned from anywhere. Plus high street chemist closes down forever in a couple of months. Quietly disgusted
