Rhoose Pharmacy

Some of the most UNFRIENDLY staff I have ever met, especially the one with dark short curly hair. Always a frown for each customer. They keep you waiting without acknowledging you're even there. I understand they may be busy, but all that is needed is a smile and the words be with you in a minute. Unfortunately this is my local pharmacy, but I will be using an online pharmacy to pick up my prescription in future.

Made to wait outside so a member of staff could gossip with another. I finally get in to get my prescription and the staff member was so abrupt. I will never step foot in the over priced place again. I am also looking at launching a complaint to the health authority, surely these behaviours should not happen based on other peoples experiences registered here.

My dad's medication is supposed to be delivered as he is 85 years old. It sometimes doesn't come at all and in only 1 month out of 6 has everything been in there and he has been without medication. He has had to chase them for it and no notification was given that they owed him meds. I live 40 mins away and I'm getting cross now that a simple repeat script cannot be delivered efficiently.

An excellent and helpful pharmacy. With really helpful staff. They can be busy but are always friendly and helpful. I'm glad this is my local pharmacy.

Disgusting and very rude service from a mature woman who thinks she has power to speak to others like they are below her. Today, I stopped for Nurofen plus for a painful abscess on my gums. She asked if I’d used them before. I answered yes however, it would be 3 or 4 months ago because I live in Kingston Upon Thames. For some unknown reason she removed ALL the Nurofen off the shelf behind her - why? Your guess is as good as mine ! Instead of completing the transaction with me she proceeded to check with another person had they a problem with their repeat. Upon entering the pharmacy, the woman asked if she could help me, I immediately inquired whether those standing to the side of me were waiting and that I wasn’t ‘jumping the queue’ - I was assured I was next. Once she passed me the Nurofen, I was then left standing waiting to pay by card however, she rudely proceeded to greet everyone who opened the main door and leave me wondering if I’d insulted her or offended her. By this point I felt intimidated as people had started to look as to why I was not paying and leaving. This extremely tall, rude assistant seems to let power get the better of her. I work for the NHS and find it odd she wears a set of scrubs???
I will be taking this further. I am a 62 year old professional person whom she treated like some drug addict. And, why remove all the Nurofen plus from the shelf.
A terrible upsetting experience — I really will not put myself through that again. How can she justify behaviour like that towards customers. Without any customers there would be no job for her. Customer service training most definitely required on this tall, woman in her late 60’s. Imagine if I treated patients in such a rude way……I would be dismissed. Extremely disrespectful and rude, I will NEVER use Rhoose Pharmacy again and advice my colleagues! Definitely Boots from today !
