Unfortunately if your prescription (which you've already waited 48 hours for if it's a repeat) comes in from Gowerton/Estuary practice, you will have to wait a FURTHER 3+ DAYS as they now send them to Birmingham to be filled by robots and sent back. Honestly, you think I'm joking? I'm not. That news came from them today. Apparently it's due to Well Pharmacy trying to reduce staff hours.

Thier advice is that you now need to leave at last 7 days from ordering your repeat prescription to collecting.

Shocking service (although not the fault of the current staff). I advise you to collect the prescription and take it elsewhere - hopefully to the new Pharmacy that is due to open in the Old Auntie Ivy's Nursery soon.

Quite simply the worst chemist I have ever had the misfortune of using, sadly Gowerton Medical Center wont send the scripts anywhere else, you are always there waiting, even if you order in advance these days they do not prepare the prescription, there can be up to 8 staff there and most of them seem to be either chatting or enjoying a biscuit. Takes ages to be served. Avoid if you can.

Cannot get them to answer the phone.. The staff are very pleasant, but the service is poor. Possibly the unit is too small to cope with the volume of people coming through from the surgery as well as casual callers.

Slow, inefficient. Go over the road to Gowerton Pharmacy if you can

Went in today 23/12/22 about 16:30 to pick up a prescription. Sounds simple but being autistic it can be tough. The receptionist wasn’t much help at all! but a lovely woman waring a blue Christmas jumper sorted the whole situation within minutes. I’m not sure who you are but thank you so much you helped calm me down. You’re amazing at your job so hopefully someone recognises this!

I have phoned the Pharmacy 3 times this week regarding my prescription. Each time I have been told that it will be redelivered, (missed original delivery as I am a full time carer for my Mum) but today at 2.45 I still haven't received it and it's the weekend. I have tried phoning for nearly an hour and each time, it rings and rings without anyone picking it up and then the line goes to the engaged tone.

One across the road is better.
