Nick photographed our wedding at Clearwell Castle in April 2022 and it was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Right from the very first interaction we had with Nick, his kindness, dedication and passion for photography (and for making weddings special for his couples) shone through. He did all he could to help us feel prepared and excited about the day and reassured us when we shared nerves about being photographed, as neither my new husband or I felt we were particularly photogenic!

We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and Nick was so helpful and understanding - we were so relieved we were able to find a new date when he was available.

Finally our wedding day came around and Nick was such fun to be around - his warmth and enthusiasm made him popular with all our guests and he felt like he fitted in so well he could have been one of the family, staying well into the evening - we were sad to see him go.

Nick managed to get some gorgeous photos of us which we adore. He was kind and patient with us, giving great instructions and reassurance, all while he hid in trees and lay in the daffodils to get just the right shot!

Nick also arranged a second photographer for us (Andy) who was also very talented and caught a lot of shots of our friends and family enjoying the reception while we were off having our photos taken. There are also lovely photographs of all the styling details including our cake and flowers.

We were delighted when we received all our photos in our own digital gallery and have spent weeks enjoying them time and time again.

I would recommend Nick to ANY bride and EVERY venue. He is just a wonderful human and an incredibly talented photographer! He captured our special day so perfectly and we really loved working with him!

Nick recently photographed our wedding and we would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. From the first call, his friendly personality shone through and he gave us complete confidence that he would capture all the special memories from the day - and he did! From taking charge of all the traditional group shots to spending time and care with us to get amazing and creative couple shots, he was professional and put us and all our guests at ease to get the best photos. It felt like hanging out with a close friend and all our guests commented on how friendly and genuine he was. All communication with Nick both before, during and after the wedding was seamless. We recently recieved our photos and they are stunning - couldn´t be happier!

Can’t even tell you how good Nick was with words. We had our wedding postponed 4x because of Covid - and Nick was able to work with us throughout that time to ensure we could keep our booking. Having a vendor who was so willing to help, definitely took the pressure of us rearranging weddings. On the day, finally, with attempt #5, Nick was on time, relaxed and guided us through what to expect and what to do. He’s such a calming and positive presence that we sat him on a table with family - and they had a blast with him. It’s so nice to not have to worry about people and they’re just socially fluid enough to mingle with every single guest. Would recommend highly - especially to know that he’s capturing those memories and that they are being safeguarded. Can’t wait to display some of his images in our home.

My husband and I chose to ask Nick to photograph our wedding at Clearwell Castle in September. He was the only photographer we actually approached and we’re so chuffed he was able to do our wedding! We absolutely loved his work from the moment we saw it and felt it would encompass everything we wanted for our day, so we approached around 18 months in advance to secure our date!

Throughout the build up to the wedding Nick was on hand to answer any little queries we had and spoke to us beforehand to prepare for the day.
By the time the wedding came around we felt like I’d known him for years and he made ourselves and our guests feel so comfortable. This was particularly invaluable for us as we are both usually uncomfortable having attention or many pictures of us being taken!
Throughout the wedding Nick was a relaxing and friendly presence and it felt like we were hanging out with a friend. He put us at ease while being so professional, ensuring everything came together as planned!
Nick was true to his signature style and we had a perfect mixture of candid moments and some more formal photos. As a bride I particularly loved his attention to detail and his artistic flare, getting the most out of my dress and veil. I admired his natural, outdoor bridal shots I had seen before and it felt amazing to have my own experience and photos of this.

We are so happy with the photos, the quality is exceptional and we are blown away by them! As mentioned, the attention to detail is stunning and we are a massive fan of Nicks style of shooting!
We have had so many compliments from family and friends, not only of the photos but Nick himself during the day for being so great with our guests.
As a side note, it rained heavily on our wedding day. My husband and I had so much fun outside shooting photos and just enjoying ourselves, it has made for the best memories. We even got the bridesmaids outside and it was good fun! We completely had a choice and we decided to go for it and we are so glad we did!

We would recommend anyone to contact Nick for their wedding photography, you won’t regret it and it will make your day more magical than you’ll ever imagine!

We had nick to photograph our wedding in June 2022, Nick was brilliant from the start especially when originally booking during covid restrictions. Nick kept in regular contact with ourselves and if we ever needed anything he was super quick to answer and help! Nick was like a friend on the day of our wedding where nothing was to much to ask and was smiling along all day as if he was one of our wedding guests! Nick has kept in contact with us since the wedding on updates in relation to wedding photos where nothing has ever been to much trouble! Nick has honestly felt like a friend and the wedding photos themselves are absolutely gorgeous! Nick has captured our day perfectly and knew all the good spots to take photos in oldwalls! We are so glad we went with Nick Murray for our wedding photography, had the best experience from the outset and throughout. Nick made us feel at such ease from the first time we spoke to him on Zoom, and it was like having a mate follow us around and take pictures of us on our big day. I can honestly say we love every single one of the pictures he took and edited, he captured the day perfectly! We would recommend Nick to anyone getting married, you won’t be disappointed!

We were lucky enough to have Nick as our main photographer and it was one of the best decisions we made. The photo's we received were absolutely amazing and the quality of the album is truly stunning; it's blown us away and perfectly captures our day.
Over and above this though, Nick is one of the nicest and most genuine individuals you can care to meet. The whole end to end process from booking to posting the album was an absolute joy. He made us and our guests feel extremely comfortable and was always super positive and responsive in his communication prior to and after our wedding.
If you're considering booking Nick for your big day, and he has availability - my advice to you is simple...get him booked, you will not regret it. 5 stars does not do Nick justice, I'd give him a 10 all day long!!
