Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Clinic, Petersfield

Having had problems with my back and neck for 20+ years, leading to almost permanent migraines and severe discomfort, I have tried many physios over the years. Louise has achieved what no others have ever achieved and has significantly improved my situation with the use of both acupuncture and hands on techniques. Her knowledge and acute understanding of her field is clearly way ahead of most physios in my experience. I now visit her at least once a month for preventative treatment and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Louise has been my physiotherapist for a number of years, she is always extremely thorough from initial examination to the treatment plan and reviews. My most recent visit was during lockdown 1, and she was extremely professional with regard to safety etc. I had a frozen shoulder and could not bring my arm up or bend it backwards, when the treatment finished I had full range. I would not hesitate to recommend Louise.

When I first came to see Louise, I was in so much pain with my long standing sciatica that seeing her was my last ditch attempt at physio before going for serious surgery. Feeling like I had tried everything else to help the pain, I wasn't convinced it would help but I couldn't have imagined the difference she has made. Through a combination of treatments and advice, my pain levels are in a better place than they have been for years! She is thorough and knowledgable and I can't recommend her enough. Louise had helped me with post knee replacement therapy in 2014. Her approach was very positive and I was able to quickly get back to doing the everyday activities and more. In April 2022 I developed a shoulder problem that was extremely painful and anti inflammatory and painkillers were not the cure. I have been extremely pleased with the treatment received. Her quest to understand the cause and treat accordingly together with providing advise on ongoing prevention and strengthening have been invaluable. The treatment has included acupuncture (and I’m a coward when it comes to needles) which I have become totally relaxed about having and the results of the mix of treatments has over a number of sessions been fantastic. I’m 67 years old and active and want to remain so. Louise is a brilliant Physiotherapist, very knowledgeable and I would recommend her without any reservations.

Following an MRI scan it was confirmed that I had degenerative disc disease. Whilst I felt reasonable during the day, at night my sleep was always disturbed by back pain. I was up every night and often walking around before dawn trying to alleviate that pain. I contacted Louise and commenced a series of visits to her physiotherapist clinic. Louise carefully assessed my condition and set out series of physical and mental exercises to help me recover. She was very professional in recording my condition during every visit to her, recommending additional and different exercises to help me. As a result, my back pain slowly disappeared, and my sleep is once more undisturbed.

Louise is a exceptional physiotherapist who comes highly recommended. I started using Louise during the first lock down after I developed severe tennis elbow. I was in agony and couldn’t even lift a cup of tea when I came to her. She was very thorough in her pre treatment assessment session and extremely professional throughout the whole treatment process. If you need a physio you’ll be in very capable hands with Louise!

I had suffered Neck pain for many years, Louise has absolutely cured it. Her approach is gentle , taking time to understand life style and giving very good advice going forward in how to safely exercise and maintain her treatment. I visited throughout the Lockdown, the clinic was immaculate and safe. I would throughly recommend her.

I am so pleased to have found Louise as she is a very pleasant and knowledgeable physiotherapist. I first met her a couple of years ago when I was suffering with a 2 week migraine which had been caused by high blood pressure. The headache disappeared a couple of days after the session which was a great relief. Since then I am having regular treatment on my neck and back to help prevent further problems. A great find!
