Excel Physiotherapy and Acupuncture

Gary helped me with a niggling ankle impingement I was carrying from marathon prep end of 2021. He got me fit and race ready for my recent Ironman 70.3 in Weymouth which I raced a personal best. Gary's approach to not only identify the problem i.e. a weak glute/hip but diagnose the root cause (desk habit of sitting with one leg under me!) is something I've not seen from alot of physios do. Would highly recommend Gary and Excel physiotherapy for any Triathletes in the area or sports fanatics like myself!

Amazing results! I came to Gary with a stiff neck and explained I had been experiencing dizziness as well. Gary was able to diagnose and treat what I did not know was vertigo. As well as having physio on my neck and lots of exercises and posture changes I am now pain free and dizzy free!

For anyone else who has suffered with vertigo will know how hard it can be to be diagnosed and to find treatment, would highly recommend Gary to help and for any physio needs too! Thanks again to Gary and for the ladies who always endeavour to squeeze you in the busy diary!

Gary Carr is an exceptional pysiotherapist who I have no hesitation in recommending to my friends and family. Gary not only dealt with the immediate problem, which in my case was excruciating pain but identified the root cause, and built my treatment plan around that. He is very knowledgeable and puts the patients best interests at heart giving good advice on how to prevent / manage conditions as well as treatment.

Visited Gary with severe back pain. In my first half hour assessment he had identified the issues, talked me through them and sent me away with a plan to strengthen myself to prevent them reoccurring. I have had both my knee and shoulder sports injuries cured by following Gary s physio exercises. It also helps he takes a video on your phone of the exercises to do which is so good as you actually go home and are able to do them correctly! I cannot recommend all at Excel highly enough.
