Vita Health Group - Orpington

I normally use Crystal Palace Physio, now renamed Vita Health Group.

The same excellent private sports physiotherapist service is still available, though I had to travel alot further on this occasion as, oddly, a female physio at Crystal Palace refuses to treat men - I have been tested by woman there before so this am extremely annoying turn of events (reducing my rating from 5 to 4 stars)

The Bromley clinic provided an in -depth analysis of my injury, including a sports massage of the affected area (sadly, no acupuncture this time) and a recovery programme.

The guy who saw me was professional, knowledgeable and thorough.

Highly recommended.

Had a few sessions with Kostas for an injured wrist and the progress that was made was night and day . Would highly recommend him as he was very knowledgable and the staff were always pleasant with almost no waiting time either so don’t hesitate to use their services

I've been going here for a little while for ankle problems and they have been amazing. I went back for neck problems that's lasted 3 years, im disappointed with the appt, they just sent me some exercises and didn't even look at my neck, I was told in the consultation it would be looked at with a possible ultrasound. I feel frustrated about this appt. How can you make any judgements without looking? I could have just been sent those exercises from a phone call, going there was a waste of time and money and I feel no better. Extremely frustrating

Totally useless. I got referred to them by my GP for chronic headache that always starts from the neck. I've had a private x-ray of the cervical spine that shows misalignment but according to the physio it's nothing to worry about. My headache gets worse when my shoulder gets out of position and he had a look and said it's nothing wrong. My chiropractor have to push it right every 2 weeks. The physio didn't even do all the basic checks for the shoulder and even just by looking at it anyone with education should be able to tell it's not in it's right position. In the end i got some stretches that I've done for years and won't have any effect on my headache. Just a waste of time, maybe they treat their paying customers better.

Thanks to Mohammed Kollaran I was able to overcome a grade 2 ankle sprain fairly quickly and get back to running. He was quick to identify the problem and his exercises provided relief from pain and meant I could walk normally soon after the injury. I asked for details of his diagnosis and this was provided to allow me to make further investigation myself. I was told when to progress through rehabilitation at a rate that did not cause the injury to recur and have a good understanding of how to prevent this injury from happening again.

Another glitzy private contractor to the NHS. They offer physiotherapy services for elderly people on behalf of the NHS. But there's little or no disabled parking nearby and the pavement outside leading to it is tortuous bordering on dangerous for wheelchair or rollator users.

The first staff member I saw there didn't do much for me but the second one helped me over a number of visits and was excellent.
