After struggling with some shoulder and arm pain for some time as a result of rock climbing, I went to Teresa for help. She was incredibly friendly and very thorough. In each session she would work/massage my muscles which worked wonders - I left every session feeling flawless! She also gave me a variety of exercises to do and resistance bands to use for stretching, along with adding different exercises as my form improved. She was really excellent and I highly recommend seeing her! It was very easy to book with Barbican and the location can't be beaten.

Amazing. After trying several other physios with no success, I decided to try a final one, and I am very, very glad I picked Barbican Physio! I started seeing Teresa Calheno last September and went from not being able to run for a bus to running 10 km within a matter of weeks (I had been unable to run for about 4 months). The hands-on physio plus the exercise routines turned my injury around, and I am very comfortable running 15 - 20 km distances again on a regular basis. I thought I'd never run a marathon again, but now that is in my sights. They will be my No. 1 choice if I need physio again!

Barbican has been absolutely vital to my training in the past year. With me going through marathons for the first time, Physios have helped me fix over 5 injuries.

Teresa, in particular, is a great listener and her suggestions have been very helpful to develop strength and root out injuries.

Would recommend! 💯

I had several physio sessions with Teresa to address a shoulder pain/muscle tightness problem. After a massage each session, she showed me some stretching and strengthening exercises to prevent the problem from returning. I can happily say my shoulder pain is now gone! Teresa was really helpful and never pushed any of the exercises or massages too far as to be painful.

I had the immense fortune of having several physio sessions with Teresa at Barbican Physio following foot surgery. Teresa is highly professional, skilled and has fantastic interpersonal skills. I felt like someone truly cared about my physical wellbeing. The Barbican Physio location is also very cool and the reception staff are warm and welcoming. This is the place you need to go to.

I saw Vanessa (Cahitou?), who stayed behind especially to offer an emergency appointment. I had a compounded serum and had been treated there before (Theresa Coelho) and was really impressed by her. I was equally as impressed with Vanessa. She was personable, informative, instructive, reassuring and incredibly warm. I felt very 'safe' with her, and trusted her implicitly. She treated me expertly and my back (which was horribly sore when I arrived) felt miraculously relaxed and cajoled. She emailed me some really useful exercises as well.
Third trip- 2nd physio, and just as bowled over. Same day appointment!

I have been having discomfort on right hip joint and right ankle for almost a year. After the initial appointment with Sandra Pieper, she identified the potential cause of my pain and showed me a few exercise to practice. Following her instructions with a few more appointments, now my discomfort has completely gone. She is kind, patient and professional, I really appreciate her advice.

Sue is the best physio I’ve seen (and I’ve seen quite a few with the same spine issue I’ve had for a while) - she takes a personal, tailored approach as she believes every patient / case is different, which was exactly what I needed. Wouldn’t have made such good progress on recovery if it wasn’t for Sue!
