I booked into see Matt following a recommendation with a tight back which was giving me hip pain. He gave me a massage which eased the pain significantly as well as stretches to go home with. The pain was bad enough I didn’t think I’d be toeing the line of a half marathon 2 days later but after seeing him I went to the race and for a PB! Thanks Matt!! Looking forward to keeping in check with LMC during marathon training this year

The team are really friendly and very knowledgeable. Always super helpful whenever I need to change an appointment or anything like that. Matt has been so helpful with my recovery. The exercises were always manageable and by doing them regularly I have been able to recover so much movement after my injury. If I had been waiting for NHS support, I would still be waiting now. Working with LMC has really given me so much movement back. It was money well spent. Great job guys, keep up the good work!

Visited LMC physio with our 14yr old son after a football ankle injury. We got an appointment quickly and met with Matt who was really good at explaining what he was doing to our son. We were given good advice for the treatment and a detailed exercise recovery plan which I am certain has contributed to our sons speedy recovery. Would definitely use again and recommend. Thank you Dan

I’ve been visiting LMC for almost a year now and every experience has been more than positive. Loren always makes me feel comfortable and all of the team are friendly and professional. I don’t know what state my body would be in if I didn’t have this talented bunch to fix me up!

Reply: There is not one local review that i have left, but from my experience with your establishment. Please do not make false claims on here. You have not tried to contact me because i have no missed calls or emails from you. Another false claim. Nor you have apologised on the day. But looked at me as if i do not dare to stop your therapist when his service is not proper. My review is simply my own experience and i have stated it clearly. I have not made all this way down to you to only purposely fail your establishment. I was hoping for a proper sports massage. Your own employee told me that he just turned the heater on, hence my comment. I have told him that im cold and he didnt not offer any assistance. You seem to completely ignore the fact that i am a customer who previously had sport massages and i do not need to qualify in order to know when i am getting a sport massage and when a therapist doesnt know what he is doing. You may have better therapists, that is exactly what i was hoping to find after reading your previous reviews, but i was givent an incompitent one. And Thank you for your offer but I have to decline it.

This is not a sport massage therapists. Booked a sport massage therapist for 60 min. Expected a professionals as the reviews are very good from previous people. 1. On the day room was cold. Didn't bother to warm the room up knowing that they have a client at 10am. When you offer service such as massage you need to recognise and acknowledge the fact that your client will be partly undressed for you, as a therapist, to be able to provide a sport massage. Therefore you need a room with health and safety procedures in place, and, during the cold winter days, which is by the way today, the 18th of January 2023, having a warm room for this type of service, and prerape it to be warm for your client before they arrive is a must. It is not good enough to turn the heater on only when the client is in the room. This is not how massage service works. 2. If you call your employees a sport massage therapists they need to know how to provide a sport massage. I identified the problem areas as my shoulders. Aiden interpretation of it was to do just this- my shoulders. He didn't do the warm up of the upper body. Just started very gently massaging my right shoulder only! Not touching my other shoulder at all. Just up and down my right shoulder. It was redicilous. I asked to massage it with more presure but it continued being extremely gentle. This is not a sport massage or how it starts, you suppsed to warm up the whole upper body and then massage side by side, not allowing one area remain untouched for a long period of time. Especially in the cold room that you didn't bother to prepare for the client. And by the way, as a sport therapist you guys should know that when customer asks you to concentrate on one particular area it means do the whole body massage and stress on that particular area. I have booked an hour. Of course I expected a proper sport massage.
After 10 min I had enough of gentle touch of my one shoulder as well as feeling cold, and said that it is not working for me. I gave my feedback and left. I was not happy to make all that way down there driving for 30 min, expecting a sport massage and getting a graduate, I was not listened to when expessing my wishes and was left feeling cold when on the masseuse bed.
It is not a sport or any other massage service or how it should be.

I badly tweaked my knee coming back too soon to road riding after a bout of Covid. Not too bad off the bike but after an hour or so of riding or any kind of incline, discomfort would turn to severe pain.

My knee was putting my booked cycling trip to Tenerife into doubt, so a cycling friend recommended Laura at LMC to attempt to settle down the knee, so I could better enjoy my trip. I booked a couple of sessions the week before I travelled and was given exercises to repeat at home, easily followed by an app.

I was pretty much resigned to not riding much at all given the climbing involved but the knee felt immediately more comfortable after each session and surprisingly held up for the whole week of cycling, which included 28,000 ft of climbing. Given where I was just a week before my trip, I’d say Laura was a miracle worker! Highly recommended.

I needed to increase my fitness, but was always able to justify not doing anything about it to myself. To aid motivation, I signed up for set of personal training sessions with Matt.

Matt has been a great help, discussing my goal and planning sessions to challenge me to improve fitness. He demonstrates each routine and explains which areas of the body and muscles they target to help me understand their impact.

After completing the final session on Friday, I am already feeling the benefits, increased flexibility and effort level in the gym, and some change in body shape.

Thank you Matt for your guidance and support.

I am so pleased with the results, I have signed up for another set with Matt.
