Before Sebastian had become my piano teacher and mentor, I had minimal enthusiasm and direction in my piano journey from previous teachers. I was ready to give up on the piano and continue my musical journey on the trumpet instead.

It’s over ten years later and Sebastian has helped me achieve several graded examinations, perform a concerto on the trumpet and has even helped me to become a piano teacher.

As always Sebastian’s lessons are filled with lots of insights and positivity. He genuinely has a true passion for supporting both the highs and lows of your piano journey and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I picked up piano lessons again as an adult after learning as a child and it is a completely different experience. Sebastian is patient and knows how to get improvements from me by paying attention to detail. I always leave his lessons having learnt something new to try at home. He always tailors his lessons to suit my interests which maintains my motivation. Highly recommended.

He is very encouraging and also pushing my daughter to reach her potential. He has nurtured my daughter's passion for music. His requirements towards his pupils' progress and performance are extremely high but he also equips them with relevant techniques and his own experience to help them to get there. My daughter has made a remarkable progress after two months working with him. I wish my daughter had been taught by him earlier.

It is so lucky and privileged to have Sebastian to teach my son piano. Both my son and me truly enjoyed every minute of each lesson. By focusing on details, my son’s play had such a big contrast compared to before, much more beautiful. I particularly like so many fun and small finger exercises tailored to my son’s ability and weakness. What I was once afraid before is that the ‘boring’ practice will kill my son’s interest, but with Sebastian leading the way, my son is very motivated, sometimes in the weekend when it’s not normally our practising time, he just goes and play on his own. I’m hoping we can continue this journey for a long time and kind of wished I had a piano teacher like him when I was kid.

My son has been taking piano lessons with Sebastian for over a year now and has gone from strength to strength, passing his ATCL Diploma in Piano Performance in the process.

He really enjoys his lessons and Sebastian has always been really supportive and accommodating.

My daughter has recently started piano lessons with Sebastian and I can see her excitement and passion come back after a few years of not showing much interest or commitment.
