Carefully chosen pieces played with feeling, all round musicality and conquering performance nerves - Elena’s classes master all of these elements and more. My daughters feel motivated and under Elena’s expert tuition their progress has been beyond my expectations.

Ms Krivenko is an exceptional piano teacher. My daughter started with her at the age of 10. In five years she has achieved distinctions in ABRSM Grade 7 and 8, as well as the ARSM (perfect score), ATCL and DipABRSM diplomas by the age of 14. Under the insightful guidance and expertise of Ms Krivenko, my daughter has performed and won many awards in various concerts and music festivals in Woking, Godalming, Ascot, and Aldershot. Ms Krivenko selects repertoire with careful deliberation, always taking into account each pupil's unique style and needs in order to create a programme that showcases them in the best way. Thanks to Ms Krivenko, my daughter has developed immensely both as a musician and as an individual. We highly recommend her.

I write this as a parent with many years experience working with Elena Krivenko, who has been teaching my two older boys since 2014. In the time with her my oldest son has progressed from Grade 1 through Grade 8 (with distinction) and his first two diplomas with high marks. His brother has just attained his Grade 8 with distinction. Elena has overseen their preparation and performance at a number of local music festivals over the years, in many instances winning their classes and taking home trophies. But more important is Elena's deep understanding of my sons at a psychological and emotional level, her excellent sense in working with their temperaments in their musical development and communication, and her unfailing willingness to put their best interests at the heart of her teaching.

Highlights are also Elena's own class concerts and arranging for my eldest son to perform at the Guildford Institute. I should add that Elena herself is one of the finest pianists I have heard anywhere ever, to my mind she could hold her own with any world class performer. If you want piano tuition at the highest level I can think of no greater recommendation and no one who will work harder for your child.

Elena is an outstanding and high level professional piano teacher, with a very deep understanding of the most complex musical compositions. She always amazed me with her super individual approach to each of her students, saying that everyone has his/her own individual character, and just copying someone's playing style is not worth it, a piece of music must be conveyed precisely through your unique experience, through your understanding and feeling ...

Never got to have a lesson, but called to enquire and was dealt with extremely rudely over the phone. Politely asked for her name as I had called multiple teachers up that day to enquire for lessons and wanted to know which one called me back. She said if I dont know her name I shouldnt ask her for lessons. Could've been any of the 5 teachers/companies I had called so asking for her name was reasonable. Never had a company react like that over the phone, was completely shocked.

Probably a great piano teacher based on previous reviews but as a person im not sure, unless she was having a bad day.

Elena is passionate about her playing and this really shines through in her tuition. Excellent classes and can highly recommend.
