Selby Framing Centre

My wife took a jigsaw to be framed - originally told not to seal with a spray, once there then advised to the contrary! Framed it upside down and at least half the metal tabs holding the back on were under the back as opposed to over the top of it holding it in. Had to redo the whole thing at home. Honestly! How can someone carry out that standard (low) of work and have the nerve to give it to a paying customer?!? Very slap-dash. Certainly won't be going there again!

In reply to owner's response: whether your "records" show this or not it did indeed happen. It's my mistake regarding the spray, it was actually something wiped on the back of the jigsaw (presumably to do the same thing). At least though we are in agreement about something ie not sure how it could have been framed upside down - you would think that is a pretty basic requirement of framing a piece (and no it wasn't an abstract!?!). My other facts are also correct in that approximately half the metal tabs holding the backboard in were under it and not over it doing the job they were supposed to. There was no tape on the back. My wife didn't notice these problems until I pointed them out to her the following day when I looked at the frame: she's not one to make a fuss but I was angry & upset that you could charge her for doing such a shoddy job - it was easier for me to turn the backboard around and refix (using all of the tabs this time) than to bring it back. So there you have it - your first complaint of this nature for 20 years!?!

Have had several pieces framed here over the course of the last year. And all have been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and the time taken to give help and advice is amazing. When there have been issues(of my creation) these have been resolved with no fuss and I would recommend their services to anyone

We have had 3 Sue Fenlon pictures framed here in the past year and they have done them beautifully each time. Communication was good and the owners were friendly and professional.
They also sell lovely gifts that I have bought as presents for family and friends. Highly Recommend

Just taken some pictures in for framing. The owner spent lots of time with us trying out frames and mounts to make sure we were happy. I will post again when I pick up the pictures but the ones I saw being picked up were very well done
