I have been attending Northants Pilates core mat classes for years now, both at Northants Cricket Club and online this year. Many of us are referred to this pilates group from back/other specialists/consultants as the teachers are very well informed and experienced dealing with injuries, ex-surgeries and general aches and pains! The teachers are excellent, they always make the sessions enjoyable and varied in content. I attend to work on my core stability and there is always plenty of that, as well as strengthening and flexibility work. They always check how everyone is feeling and give different options to go a little easier or challenge yourself depending on how you feel on the day. They all have a great sense of humour and it's been lovely getting to know different people and teachers as I've moved across groups. A happy little band we are. I liked attending face to face and trying out the equipment too. Karen and Dan's communication is brilliant, they have done a fantastic job this year getting everyone online and are certainly tech experts now!

The Online classes have been amazing during lockdown and I will continue with them. I’m a carer so cannot expose myself at face to face classes. The online classes are well structured, enjoyable and have enabled me to strengthen my back and legs. Another positive aspect is that it can be done at home, so no travelling, trying to park the car, and the instructor can see minute detail what you are doing and help you achieve your best. Brilliant classes xx

I was recommended to Karen and her pilates team years ago by the McTimoney chiropractor I used to see regularly for a bad back that often went into spasms. After going to these classes each week I note very rarely need to visit chiropractor. And it's good fun too, with lovely people. I'm quite deaf and all the tutors take extra care to make sure I can follow the exercises.

I have been working with Karen and her fantastic team of instructors for 10+ years due to a degenerating back problem and without doubt having left Northamptonshire and tried many different instructors locally, there isn’t anyone who comes close to not only the quality of teaching, variety of classes and online on demand workouts, but general drive, commitment, enthusiasm and support to ensure that all clients have the best possible experience, have fun and benefit to the optimum physically from doing Pilates. As I live in Oxfordshire now, one of the only positive things to come out of the pandemic for me is that as classes had to go online, and after a break of a couple of years, I have been able to join back in, I couldn’t be happier!! If you have Pilates experience or are a complete novice give them a try, you won’t be sorry and your back whatever the issue will love you again!!!

Attending Pilates @ Northants Cricket Club with Karen, Dan and the gang is a visit to a happy place. The classes are informative, encouraging, set to meet the needs of all but also to personally challenge us all. You find you are able to do more than you believed. At the end leave feeling refreshed, as if the whole of your body is stronger and more awake. You are standing taller and have a great sense of pride that you have pushed yourself. But the best bit of all is the atmosphere in the room. The being with people who are welcoming, warm, supportive. We often have moments of laughter which adds to the feeling of well-being. No matter what experience you have, how old you are or how much you feel you are out of condition sign up to an introduction session as I did and I will bet you will keep coming back for more. The feeling of overall well-being is a amazing 😊

I have really been enjoying my Pilates, after a re-occurance of an old back injury, the classes have helped me strengthen my core and support my back.

Great friendly instructors that accommodate all abilities, but push you to improve at the same time.

Great app and membership options makes it convenient alongside the online sessions

Really can’t recommend enough!

Book a class ASAP; you won’t regret it, in fact you’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t go sooner! 😁You need Karen, Dan, Ben, Emily etc in your life! 🙏 Each class is tailored to your abilities - achievable, progressive and challenging all at the same time. The experience and knowledge of the trainers are first class - you learn something new each time. You are in great hands…They are red hot on form and will take time to explain, adjust and guide you through the move/position if you just don’t get it. No class is ever the same which is refreshing, engaging and addictive! The giggles in class are an absolute bonus - providing reassurance, support and happiness. It’s a safe place to feel/be yourself. Everyone leaves a better, stronger, more aligned, happier version of themselves. Your posture has improved remarkably and you feel fabulous. Before you know it, the hour has whizzed past - time flies when you’re having so much fun! You can’t wait for your next class. It will leave you coming back for more! 😁😁😁

After going to many a gym based Pilates class with loads of people and zero instruction, I was lucky enough to find Karen’s classes. The difference between gym based Pilates and Karen’s classes was huge! I learned so much about my body, joints, movement and how to move with good alignment and technique in order to get the best out of my body, that I became hooked and decided to quit my job and become a teacher myself. My only complaint now is that Karen and I live so far apart I’m not able to come to her brilliant classes anymore. Thanks Karen for the inspiration and for helping so many of us learn how to use our body better.
