La Pizzeria

Need to get it together ... 1 item was missing from order... and my pizza... as you will see must have been leaned on its side!

Just ordered and tasted it the pizzas are nice.
They advertise its fresh but I put them too the test which they failed to do was to put fresh garlic on the garlic bread. This takes 2 mins
Delivery driver was nice timing was quick.
I used to be a chef and I know the kitchen extremely well and this only gets 1 star as the pizza oven must of been on too high as the bottom was too brown nearly burnt. They don't use fresh ingredients as the fresh tomatoes looked one day old which means they were from yesterday
It's is cheap but all in all I wouldn't say its the best and it has failed on the taste test.
The best local one that has passed the taste test was royal Istanbul as it tastes and looks fresh and also arrives piping hot

We have just discovered the best takeaway in Barrow! Food is delicious and freshly made- you can tell, diverse menu, very reasonably priced for such quality food and prompt delivery! We will be making this our one and only takeaway and will be recommending all our friends to try it!

We would love to review the food, however, we never received our order!!

Whilst staying locally we placed an order with La Pizzeria via FoodHub at around 9.40pm on a Wednesday evening which was immediately confirmed for delivery at our chosen available delivery slot of 10.35pm.

By 10.55pm and already 20 minutes late, I called La Pizzeria to find out where our food was to be told that their driver was '5 or 6 minutes away'.

At 11.15pm, another 20 minutes later, I called again to be told their driver was 'on his way but busy', at which point and now already nearly 45 minutes late I told them to cancel my order.

At around 11.25pm (and now 50 minutes later than confirmed) and despite me cancelling the order 10 minutes earlier, the driver tried calling me, but obviously irratated and now very hungry (and warming a tin of soup from home), this was ignored!

Very poor customer service, especially as via the App they clearly had my phone number and could've called me to let me know if they were running late and gave me the option whether I wanted to wait.

After now looking at other reviews of La Pizzeria we can see that this is not a one off occurance and actually seems to be quite common for them to do.

Our advice therefore would be to use one of the many other more reliable takeaways in and around the Barrow in Furness / Walney area for your food as you will at least receive it!!

Tonight’s episode of la pizzaria is shight, 2 hours late (probably not coming), refusing to answer phone after 50+ phone calls, soo yeah I’ll be getting refund and never seeing me again

Very busy fast service food was tastey reasonably priced

La Pizzeria has been by go-to spot for pizza deliveries for a while now. The pizzas usually come fairly warm (not hot) and quickly, although there can be delays on busy evenings. Orders have been correct pretty much every time for me, there was only one time where a small item was missed. The pizzas are tasty and fresh. I like the option of the hot dog topping, as this doesn't seem to be available in a lot of other local pizzerias.

Waited over hour and half for the meal to turn up after being told its on its way half hour earlier, then to find out missed out the young ones fudge cake, rang was told they will get it to us but its going to take 40 mins, still waiting two and quarter hours later, obviously we were yet again told ITS ON ITS WAY. poor all round service. We were regular customers but that's us done as this place has consistently got worse. Pity I have to give one star to post.
