Basilico Hampstead

I ordered from here several times and always loved the pizza. You pay a little premium but very much worth it if you want real Italian tasting authentic pizza. Cooked in a real wood burning stove makes for a perfect crust. Staff is very friendly, delivery times super fast.

While Basilico Pizza Hampstead offers a large variety of pizzas in three sizes (10'',13'', 18'') my order of an Americana Pizza was dissapointing and poor value for money.

For starters £15.95 for a 13 inch pizza is not good value. Having paid an extra £2 for goat chesse and £2 for mushrooms I was disappointed to see it only bought me three very small pieces of goat chesse and five thin slices of mushroom. All in over £20 for a cold, average 13'' inch pizza.

Compared to other pizza parlours such as Oregano Pizza and Homeslice - that offer a 20 inch pizza for £20 loaded with ingredients - Basilico Pizza is a poor choice. Their tagline 'simple, honest pricing - delivered free by experts' does not hold true, given the 'honesty' does not translate into good value.

Absolutely disgusting pizza. I feel sick! Took 2 bites and had to throw away. This company should not be operating

80mins to deliver, £32, cold, dry and honestly terrible! How this place can call itself a pizzeria is beyond me!
