American Pizza

I have never been so disgusted by the words coming out of someone's mouth before. I ordered from here and after an hour the delivery had not turned up so I decided to call and see what the delay was. The man on the phone then proceeded to shout verbal abuse at me, saying I was a c**t and that he would come to my address and cut me because I had not provided the correct details and he had lost money on trying to deliver to me... I asked the receptionist at the hotel I am at if anyone had arrived with a delivery for me, of which he replied that no one had. American Pizza are simply trying to scam people out of their money through online deliveries. No one order from this place as you will be highly disappointed and verbally abused.

After eating pizza from American Pizza Hinckley Rd I had really bad gastric problems, terrible tummy pain followed by several bouts of diarrhoea. I eat pizza regularly and this never happens to me as a result. After checking the food hygiene rating of the place, which is only a 2 and is in need of improvements in many areas I am even more disgusted by the pizza which has made me horribly ill. I would advise anyone considering purchasing food from this establishment to choose somewhere else with much better hygiene standards and dread to think how they are making their pizzas with such disregard to hygiene issues. Do not buy from here & save yourself hours of discomfort & debilitation.

Friend went in at 00:20 to get 2 fantas on 18/08/2020, was shouting ‘hello’ to get the gentlemen’s attention who was passed out on the side appearing drunk. Friend continuously shouted hello at the gentleman to serve her. When he finally arose from his slouched position on a surface he shouted to my friend ‘baby, come here’ and started to walk from behind the counter chasing after her. Luckily I was standing outside the takeaway at this point as she came out very distressed shouting to the male ‘go away, leave me alone’. If I hadn’t have been there my friend may have been assaulted. No idea how to take this further but was an extremely distressing situation for my friend who almost had a panic attack. Very unprofessional and would never order from this establishment. Unsure if this was the owner or a worker. Stay clear.

Pizza was edible. However customer service was appalling. Ordered two pizzas buy one get one free. Should come to £8.90. The server charged me over a tenner. Then argued that the price was wrong on the signs, the leaflets. Then complained that they can't afford to update the price board for seven years. Whilst I sympathise, it ain't my problem and I got my change refunded eventually.

Avoid.

Amazing food, mine and my families usual and has been for the past 25 years.

Cold thin base when supposed to be deep pan .. tastes like shop brought pepperoni pizza that was supposed to have 3 other toppings .. would not order again

Ordered food, when it came the corn was discoloured, and the toppings from the pizza was on the side of the box, not on the pizza! I wouldn’t bother ordering from here!

Very nice.. fresh dough american style pizza.. ordered for first time. All round good. 👍
