Pizza Express

Had a lovely Saturday lunch. Service was friendly and very welcoming. Food was superb. I would definitely recommend and be back soon. The burnt ends pizza is delicious, sweet and lightly spicy I ordered it with thin crust. I was surprised how thin it was and still felt fully satisfied.

Friendly staff but quickly came under pressure as the place filled. Pizzas were okay but a little undercooked but the real disappointment was the state of the loo. Semi blocked, fluid on the floor, not good. Situated on the first floor really needs to be checked on a more regular basis.

How lovely are the staff members in Pizza Express Crawley?! Especially the girl from Madeira, who looked after me so well. The attendance was so well balanced. She was never too much. I came in on my own after having had a horrible day at the dentist that left me very upset. I felt welcomed, was never made feel awkward and I left with a big smile on my face. It’s the little things in life. On top of that the food was absolutely delicious. Will be back for some more. Exceptional customer service! Thank you!

Food here is excellent, love the open plan kitchen so you can see the chefs cook you food. Service was good too. More expensive than some but the quality and service more than makes up for it.

Had a great time here at Pizza Express Crawley, Matt provided us an excellent service much appreciated! Seating was pretty good, was told that we had a wait of around 45 minutes however they swiftly found us seats within 5 minutes.

Good service, very accommodating, patient (we are a large family) and helpful. Slight hiccups, but that’s fine we’re all human. The food was excellent, so no complaints there. Credits to the chefs and waiters/waitresses.

Great pizza, lots of space upstairs for our sons party. Shame there wasn't any kids menus to keep them entertained! Friendly staff who were very helpful

Had to wait a long time (~30 minutes) to get our food while the place wasn’t even fully crowded. At least the food wasn’t too far off the standards compared to their other branches for which it gets the 1*
We got soiled/used plates with pizza and even had to ask for the pizza cutter (I think it’s common sense to provide one with a large pizza).
It was a lot better a couple of years ago but maybe the pandemic and current economic conditions have really hit them hard. Sorry to say but I cannot recommend this specific store to anyone and will probably not be visiting here myself even though I live in the area.
