The service was the best here out of all pizza Express.
The dough balls didn't taste as good as they hyped it to be.
But the pizzas were very very good.
Great tiramisu
Loved it

I visited Pizza Express today. I'm a tourist and it's my first time in London. One star is for the waiter who served us wine - he was very hospitable and friendly. The second star is for the food - it was good. The prices are moderate, the Leading Hall is beautiful. Unfortunately, I left the restaurant feeling miserable because of the waitress who served us. I'm not a native English speaker and I had difficulties with understanding her (it was the only person in London who I couldn't understand and people also understand me). I asked her to repeat something I hadn't understood. She was really unfriendly and unhelpful. She was also rolling her eyes behind my back (!!!) - my husband told me about it. We were there with our friends and wanted to make three separate orders and take three separate bills. She had a HUGE problem with it and didn't want to do it. Finally she brought one bill and made us split it ourselves and count it on our own calculators. Terrible experience. The restaurant was almost empty in the peak hours - that speaks volumes. Girl, if you are reading this, think about changing your career. Life is too short to make your life miserable. You obviously hate the job and the customers. I felt really humiliated and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. London is a tourist city and not everyone speaks fluent English. I do, and I travel a lot in Europe. I never had problems with communication except this place. Probably my worst dining experience ever.

Great hidden away branch of Pizza Express. Although it was almost empty when we dined there, I could imagine that it would get somewhat cramped when full. In general a Pizza Express is the same anywhere but what can make the difference is the staff. In this branch the staff were wonderful. They were friendly and very helpful especially joking with my children and making them feel comfortable and welcome. As a parent this means a lot to me. When we needed staff they were immediately present but otherwise we were left in peace. A good example of hospitality.
The food was tasty and the courses were perfectly spaced apart. At the time there were great offers available on their app which made our meal very good value.
By the end of our visit we were all satisfied, happy and full. What more can you ask for?
Based on our experience I would recommend this restaurant.

Usually chain restaurants aren’t very welcoming but at the Pizza Express at Leadenhall Market breaks this pattern. The staff are very kind and welcoming. They insured we were all enjoying our selves (especially the children). The staff made the experience as enjoyable for the children as for the adults. With light jokes and engaging conversation while waiting for the food to arrive, I can certainly say that the staff showed some of the best hospitality I’ve ever seen. The food was amazing too! It was warm and arrived very quickly! Additionally, the restaurant is in a beautiful place. Leadenhall Market is so amazing that it makes the experience even better. I will definitely be coming back!

We arrived, two parents with our son, plus 18 of his ‘closest friends’ for a 6th birthday pizza making party.
Despite being hopelessly outnumbered, the staff knew exactly what they were doing and expertly took the kids through the steps of dough shaping and pizza topping.
Their creations were then sent to the oven and promptly returned cooked for them to devour.
All the children had so much fun and it was reassuring that they were in such good hands.
Leadenhall Market is a fantastic location.
I would thoroughly recommend a Pizza Express pizza making party.

This restaurant is amazing. Beautiful atmosphere and the staff were wonderful when serving my family (a huge group of 12) and we are forever thankful. I also would like to mention the prices are a very good standard, and I really appreciate all the hard work that happens at this restaurant! This has become our 'family catch up' restaurant because its great for kids and adults with great selection of wines! Thanks everyone!
