GF options were a nice touch. The meantime Pizza Express Ale was a nice surprise as well. Coming from NY it isn't the same pizza as back home but a nice venue and we had a great server. The dough balls were delicious.

One of the worst pizza's I've ever had in my life. They used to have decent pizzas if not great, but with this visit that all went down the drain. The price in no way justifies the taste.

On the other hand, the staff are quire polite and friendly and the ambience is good too, but unfortunately none of that compensates for the below average taste of the pizza.

Arrived for PE App pre-booked online early Monday evening dinner, greeted warmly, offered a range of tables sat window side street level quiet atmosphere environment. Staff member returned took our order of Roman BBQ burnt ends & Roman Pollo Forza pizzas, 1 Cola and 1 gluten free Peroni. The food arrived sooner after, pleasing to the eyes well balanced ingredients & toppings. Staff asked if all was fine, we agreed and asked for chilli oil. The pizzas were thoroughly tasty. The pollo forza had good amount of chicken. The burnt ends was slightly sweet with hints of heat from spices. Ground level facilities were clean. A thoroughly enjoyable pleasant meal certainly near excellent overall.

We had a table for 6 booked on a busy Sunday night in August. We were sat near the kitchen so had a good view of everything going on - top marks to the gentleman running the kitchen and the 'duty manager ' for keeping the food going out. While the waiting staff were a little day-dreamy floating back and forth, these 2 keep it all ticking over meaning that we got great hot food.
We all know hospitality is struggling for staff but these 2 together with the quietly polite & efficient 'table clearer' were an example of how it's done right. Tough crowd in a tourist spot but we were very happy customers.

Walked in on a Friday night & managed to get a table. I like a place with atmosphere but for a while there was a lot of banging coming from the open kitchen (It looked like a chef putting multiple pieces of frozen dough into wooden crates) & struggled to have a conversation at the dinner table.

It took a while to get noticed to order & I was starving but then the food did arrive pretty quickly. Food was hot, tasty & up to standard.

I thought it was odd that the canned beer arrived with no glass but maybe I had to ask for one?

Wish you could order on the app as it was easy enough to pay on there without having to wait for the bill.

Friendly and good service. The food was disappointing overall, not quite the standard I've experienced in other PE restaurants sadly.

A perfect place to stop for food and watch the world go by. We stopped here after a trip to Saint Paul's Cathedral, we didn't book, bit we're taken to a table and we're seen to very promptly. The food came out after what seemed like only 5 minutes and was very good quality. We arrived here at 5pm and it appeared to be a less busy time to be here. The staff were all friendly and we were all full. We will definitely be coming back.
