Franco Pizza & Chicken

Absolutely love their pizzas, tasty, good pricing and offers wide range of toppings. I also like their burgers and chips. However, the chicken recipe had changed from years back, and I personally do not like the taste of their chicken anymore, before it used to be one of my favourite takeaway places for chicken.

The food is vile! Just ordered from Uber eats, I got a 7” spicy beef and pepperoni pizza, the spicy beef is dry flavourless and has the texture of a crumble it definitely wasn’t fresh, the chicken wings came pink on the inside! I highly suggest don’t order food from here !

Don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. This is the best pizza place around this side of London. We get the same pizza every week (xlarge 4 cheeses £9.50). The dough is delicious and generous amount of cheese. Tried the garlic, prawn and olive one too which is great if you REALLY Like garlic. The spicy chicken wings are very spicy and perfect amount of crunch. We call and pizza is ready 10mins later.

This place lacks severe hygiene. After ordering a fish burger I realised the burger was still frozen cold which hasn't been defrosted before frying, so I went back to the shop and they prepared me another one, while waiting I realised the man in the picture was coughing and said that he has a flu to which i replied he shouldn't be working in the premises if he has a flu with a high temperature during the pandemic crisis. Only after when I advised him he then wore a mask and he got really aggressive about it. Without using any gloves or tongs he picked up the fish patty with his bare hands. I also heard in the background another worker was gossiping in his language how killed a rat the other day, not knowing that I understand their language. After hearing all this my stomach turned upside down, and with the burger being frozen cold I decided to ask for a refund. The guy in the picture who I've advised to wear a mask and to use gloves and tongs became very angry and I never got my refund, he only wore the mask because I advised him since he has a flu. And the guy without the mask completely ignored the hygiene regulations. Both man are guilty.

Please avoid.

Worse place to order your food from. The Customer service is out of this world. They do not give a monkeys about what you say about their food and services. Big mistake going there over the weekend.

If you want good pizza go to Angie's just round the corner. Never again will I make the same mistake by going there.

If there was a '0' on rating I would of gave that as they don't deserve even a 1 star

Really sad to see this place starting to go down the drain. I've been buying food from this place for around 10 years now. Over the years the price has been going up and portions reducing. The owner really needs to look into how a customer is feeling when I've ordered a adult meal and received a kids size portion. Over the 10 years box size we're bigger like other take away still have. However the box has already been reduced before now even the amount chips thats inside the box is not even enough for my 6 year old to eat. Quality is dropping day by day, unfortunately the staff working in there taking grief for management mistakes and not dealing with customer complaints. Also need to look into getting he card payment working again or has it been stopped permanently for tax evasion purpose taking cash only with sign up stating CASH ONLY. Really disappointing; looks like I need to find somewhere else to go going forward.

This was my third and last time I ever ordered from this place. When I first ordered from this place they gave me a burger with a caterpillar inside, so I called them up to inform them without blaming them, instead they got angry with no apologies. I can understand insects can sometimes get caught up. But the managements behaviour was appalling when they shouldve adhered to the matter professionally. But anyway that was that.

Moving on, a month down the line I ordered again and thought I'd give them another try because everyone deserves a chance and this time the food was nice, actually it was better than what I expected.

My last and final time I ordered from this place was when I realised a piece of my chicken wings has already been bitten by someone, I took it back to the shop and the guy at the till said "someone must've had a bite on the chicken to taste if its been cooked right, it was only a test"....so that was their reasons with no apology. The guy then said he will replace my meal in 5 minutes after a cigerrete, so he went puffing and came back to replace my meal without washing his hands with cigerette odour all over my food. Very unhygienic and very unproffesional. I left without my food and walked out.

SHOCKING !!! AVOID !!!!

I bought wings from them. Bad quality wings with full of chicken hairs on it. I did call to let them know about it. But im really upset about their behaviour. I didn't ask for any refund. As my local food shop they need to improve their quality of food. And to stop selling wings with hairs on them. I asked if he would feed his kids and family the wings, he said he never takes food from his shop. I would complain to the food standards agency about them. Everyone in the area be careful about pizza Franco when you buy food from them.
