Mani's Food Bar

After giving manis a 2nd chance of edible food we ordered and food arrived over 1 hour, I then Rejected the food as it was cold and undercooked hard chips and cold meat. I asked for teh food to be collected and a refund, the man on the phone ended up putting down the phone whilst I was explaining. They did try to offer a credit or resend the food but I rejected for two reasons.

One that I did not trust what they would do to teh food after a complaint with the guys rudness on the phone.
Two as this was the second chance in 12 months I did not want to try for the third time.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I am in full right to reject the food and request a refund if not fit for purpose.

A full complaint with evidence has been sent to Wiltshire Trading standards for investigation and resolve has been contacted. Items have been retained for the evidence.

Seems to be a running pattern for Manis, SO BE WARNED BEFORE YOU ORDER.

We stopped using manis 4 odd years ago due to delivery times and issues but last night we thought we would try them again so we phoned up the girl on the phone was great and took our order very polite
We were a bit dubious about how long it would take being told upto 45 mins as in the past has been longer but it turned up in 49 minutes which was great but it all went down hill from there so firstly they forgot the Sauce on the potato's secondly the food portion size is an absolute joke a little tray of chips like a child portion and I ordered a LARGE mix doner kebab and well I wouldn't have even called it a small there was about 4 strips of doner if that and some well what I guess they call chicken and thirdly the chips potatoes and chicken strips were all in little paper trays wrapped in paper so it was all barely warm when it arrived either the way there wrapping it up is bad or the order literally sat around for ages before delivery its a real shame as what was there of the food Be it barely warm did taste OK but needless to say we definitely will never ever go back there again the photo added is of my large kebab after I had removed the lettuce

Absolutely disgusting service. Order messed up and was very cold on delivery when phoned to explain. Staff didn’t want to listen and said I was wrong. Very argumentative which didn’t help me with 3 children excited for takeaway. Would not use them again very rude

Had my favourite Doner Kebab, always brilliant and quick delivery, I live just outside Salisbury. Packed with meat and all the trimmings. Wife had chicken wrap - delish!

Ordered from Manis last night Wednesday (19/11/22) my son had a cheese and ham pizza and I had a cheese burger and both cooked to perfection would definitely recommend Manis

What can I say the delivery was slow and when we got are food it was cold and the chips were squased and so was the onion rings , my wrap I had wasn't even what it said it was very dry and very cold , my partners meal was cold as well , won't be ordering from here again

We were visiting Salisbury for Stonehenge and the city tour. Loved the food, delicious flavouring and truly a gastronomical experience. Thank you 😀👍🏼

Food took 2.5 hours to arrive. Food was good, but definitely wouldn't order from here again.
