Little Monkeys Play Centre

It's difficult to find clean and spacious soft plays but we found one here! The best we've visited with our 2 year old and 3 month old. He had a great time! It's is located in beautiful surroundings and feels very safe - I felt happy letting my boy play whilst I tended to my baby girl. It also wasn't too busy, we visited on a Friday. Its reasonably priced and staff are friendly. We'd definitely be going back :)

This is a review of the food, which is served in the cafe there, whilst your children play, out you need a quick meal.
Prices are very reasonable, with a selection of joy and cold food. We ordered sandwiches, toasties and chips (including a very cheesy) cheesy chips.
All great with no problems. On site toilets were clean. The noise of soft play did not transfer to the dining area, although there are also seats with line of sight for the kids too.

Not great experience today. empty plates on tables. Only one poor girl behind the counter and some very rude parents shouted at her because she wasent serving quick enough poor girl started crying. Food came wrong for our kids and then they had to wait even longer and they got restless. Drove from chesterfield and felt quite deflated.

Food wasn't cooked very well panini and toastie not toasted at all, sausage sandwich was cold, staff seemed more interested in talking than serving as had to stand for 10 mins just to but a packet of biscuits for my daughter, when I asked the lady her served me previous if she could charge me I got told she was on clearing tables now and couldn't there's better places to take the kids unfortunately it was really good a couple of years ago definitely gone downhill

Worst play center we have been too in the toddler area it's absolutely so disgusting the toys in there are filthy. Staff aren't very confident when approached at the desk I get there young but have a more experienced person to help them or be there for them

Had a great time at this play area. Or little one loved exploring.
Could do with a warning sign I think for the big swirly slides as he bumped his head going down them, they are rather fast.

Attend a party today. Been here quite regularly and always had a pleasant time. But today I was spoken to like a child on several occasions by 1 member of staff! On entering my child's name was given and I paid for my other child. We sat and waited until it was time to go in and enjoy the party. I was stopped and abruptly told I needed to give my child's name before entering! I HAD! Which I stated. I was then spoken down to like a naughty child because she had not got her sticker before entering..... then quizzed if I had paid for my other child which I stated I had to be abruptly told I needed to psy for her! To then be told to sit in a certain area where tables had the birthday child's name on to then be asked to move???
Repeatedly being spoken to as the though I was in charge of the party when I was not!

Customer service goes along way when you speak to people with courtesy and respect!

Other staff members were absolutely delightful polite and courteous!

It got to the point where if I had been spoken to like it 1 more time she would have told to stop being so rude, you'll question why I did not say anything there and then.... well it was a child's party and I did not want to ruin it for her!

It's probably the best all-around soft play in our area
Nice little area for the under two's and a bigger area for the older ones
