Wheatsheaf Recreation Ground

My daughter loves this park because of the variety of things.

It has a great zipline, swings and a climbing structure. As well as a roundabout and a couple of climbing 'castles' with slides and bridges for the younger kids.

It's not usually busy either which is a bonus.

Carters fair was there with their amazing old steam rides including the dive bomber! Their caravans are really old and in perfect condition. They had a good fireworks display on the Saturday night. Everything is so shiny and immaculate and so old! Worth a visit wherever it is now.

Nice park to play, rest and walk around during mornings and evenings. Especially on summer times great place to have some sunshine and picnic with fam and friends.

Not talking about the playground but the whole park. Uncomfortable benches along the street with countless cars passing by. Wow, what a smart design. Why not put them in nice and quiet places??

It's a big field with some swings in one corner... Perfect if that's something you need.

Good place to have some fun with friends ☺️

I have visited here while I was volunteering to pick litter for charity. It certainly did not impress me as a location to visit and I suspect high levels of litter are likely to be a common occurrence here.
