They fixed our leaky boiler with a minimum of fuss for the price of a service. Seem to know their stuff.

My mother had a problem with her shower and one of FGCC plumbers called and said it needed replacing so not to use it and they would order a new one. When she phoned them they kept saying they were very busy! After 5 weeks we made a 200 mile trip to take a look at the shower and couldn't find anything wrong with it. She has been using it now for 2 weeks and it is fine. She is 87 years and lives on her own . Would never use them again and would not recommend.

Awful experience using this company, Derek the Director called out to my facility Fit4Life Health and Fitness to price up and book in a job replacing shower trays.

He then booked the job in for 12 WEEKS LATER as he was really "busy" to which I agreed, this was then pencilled into the diary

The date arrived for works to be started and nobody turned up, I called them to politely ask what was going on to which I had the displeasure of speaking to Derek's rude and obnoxious receptionist claiming that Derek and the team had been called out to another job

No notice whatsoever was given, no professional courtesy at all just excuses, I had waited for 12 weeks for the work to be started

This was at a cost to my business as I had put my trust in Family Gas Care to complete the work in a punctual and professional manner

No further dates were set to reschedule the work, Derek simply passed the message onto his receptionist to state that he no longer had the time to do the work, cowardice is the best way to describe his actions

As a successful business owner I understand as well as anybody that giving customers a high quality service with added value is paramount

The way that Family Gas Care dealt with this job was nothing short of amateurish

The best part is that they have recently sent me an invoice for the initial call out charge ( to price the job up)

I can assure them this will not be paid and I will seek legal advice if another letter is sent to my company address

Thank you for finally communicating, something your company seems to have difficulties with

Apologies but your response is not true, you came out to the site to price the job up and inspect the level of work required, I was with you on this visit for 15 minutes of your time

Firstly no other Plumbers had been out to inspect the work, you were the first plumber I called based on a recommendation from a Gym Member

Your comments stating that I wanted a "botch job" are farcical and a lie, Fit4Life is an award winning facility done to the highest standard, this is evidenced as we were voted one of the best new gyms in the U.K, We simply discussed alternative options and in the end you agreed that the best solution was to reseal the bases and add vents to the tiling, this was your idea, I am not a plumber, I took your word for this as a feasible solution

You then said that you would "trial" this solution on a couple of the showers and analyse results following

On your comment not once do you show any professionalism for not "showing up" to the job or take any responsibility for leaving me waiting for 12 weeks. You simply prioritised other work, no communication at all, I am sure you agree that this is not good enough

The 12 week delay and no communication left my company out of pocket and gave me no opportunity to source a reputable company to finish the work

As a business owner if a member of my staff spoke to a client in the manner that your receptionist spoke to me I would seriously consider replacing them, hanging the phone up is petulant and highly unprofessional

I have no recollection of calling you to do further work? That's an illogical comment considering my review

I have never in 19 years of being in Business posted 1 review online, let alone a negative one, that speaks volumes

And something else that speaks volumes to note as you are dropping in how many clients you have amongst your "3 other business's" is the fact that Family Gas Care has only 5 Google Reviews, 1 negative, just 2 positive, 1 fake review and a 5 star review by Derek Hardman... Director of... Family Gas Care! That simply invalidates your claims I am afraid

Fit4Life is now 3 years established, over 100 reviews and over 98% 5 star across the board

The reason I mentioned that I am a "successful business owner" was to validate my opinion of your company

As mentioned you can send as many "payment reminders" as you like

I will unequivocally stand my ground with this matter

I love and highly recommend this shop. You will not be disappointed.
Service is always perfect, staff is always friendly and accommodating, and reasonable price.
I absolutely love the boiler and radiator they installed! It works very well. Very satisfied with this purchase.
They're really good at focusing on what I need and require. Good work 👏! Also, providing some useful advice for me and follow up when I needed.
