After getting the refund of the machine, they refused to return the money for the installation wich is £130 (too expensive) and the money from the guarantee £80
I don't recomend this place at all, avoid yourself a headache.
The lack of professionalism of this company is unbeliable they wanted to send the same person who destroyed the machine to install the new one, instead of returning our money.. There is cheaper companys out there, with real profesionals, they deserve 0 starts, but google won't allow me..
Whatever you do, find another company. We contracted them to fix our underfloor heating, they said they could repair it and asked for a deposit for materials and to book them. When Wayne arrived it was clear he didn't know what he was doing, he spent no time on the system but kept going out for more and more things even though he supposedly had ordered parts prior. Not only did they never do any work on our heating system, they actually damaged it. We asked for our money back and now they are ghosting us!!
I contacted them 4 months ago to do this for me, and it all went wrong, to the point that our washing machine ended up broken.
The engineer was even late but that wasn't a problem for us as long as the job was going to be done, he came over and did the "installation" charging" us £130, quiet expensive but all we wanted was to start using our washing machine.
I was concerned of his professionalism because the "engineer" didn't seem confident enough to do the job, but I let him continue with whatever he was doing and after finishing the "installation" I decided to put some clothes in the washing machine and it started expelling dirty water, making noises and not squeezing the water due to not having the tube well connected.
I contacted them to let them know and they told me that they were going to come over again, I emphasized that I didn't wanted to have to deal with the unprofessionalism of the previous "engineer", that I wanted another person to come over and they told me that the only person required to come back was the person who first started the job.
The same "engineer" came over and told me that there was nothing wrong with the installation, that he haven't done nothing wrong, and also said that the washing machine could have been broken from the very beginning, I doubted it immediately because it was a bran new washing machine, we couldn't get in touch with the washing machine's company due to the Coronavirus lockdown, everything was closed on that period, that's why we had to contact a different company for our washing machine's installation.
I had to let it go and wait for all the shops to open again, after a few months later I've got in touch with the washing machine's brand company and they came to have a look at it, to our "surprise" we found out by the engineer that the washing machine was never installed properly and even some plastics that were meant to be removed from it were still underneath, due to that the machine couldn't work properly and it lead to the complete damage and breakdown and that's why the water was coming from underneath of it.
When it was opened by the engineer, we found out that the drum was completely broken, complete broken machine.
After discovering this I've got in touch with "Wizfix heating" again and they asked me for the proof, I've sent them a video, receipts and the report of the washing machine's brand company that stated that the fault was coming from the person that did the washing machine's installation, since then they've been saying that they were going to do their own investigation and that they were going to pay as back the price of the washing machine but not the installation fees, I was very radical and clear telling them that I didn't want anything from them but all my money back, the money of the washing machine and the installation fee, it's has been 3 days now and I'm not getting a response from them.
It's just a nightmare, I regret coming across this company, I'm still waiting and if I don't get any response I will have to sue them to get what corresponds us.
Update: This is the answer for the comment of "wizfix" under my review:
This goes for whoever that wants me to prove what I've said previously, I have receipts, calls and messages, everything to prove that what I'm saying is true, they didn't refund us the installation fee, they disagreed to do that, they rather preferred to come over again and do another installation for free, I did not accept it because they made the same mistake 2 times, after arguing with them they refund us the money of the machine that they've broken, but not the installation fee and the machine's guarantee, we had to pay all of it again.
