Excellent workmanship and very reasonably priced. Used Perkins plumbers numerous times from a new bathroom installation to power flushing and also resolved heating issues. Great plumber.

We hired Perkins Plumbing for a boiler replacement and a bathroom renovation.

The boiler, despite unfinished pipes, mess by his subcontractors and omitting the bonding was fine overall. (EDITED TO ADD: Due to the electrical work being unsafe, we requested gas safe come out and review the gas work - the boiler was condemned unsafe and not commissioned!)

The bathroom on the other hand was an absolute disaster. The quality of finish was appalling, with the plastering work on one of the walls being uneven, lumpy, and just generally awful.

The electrical work he did in the bathroom was deemed unsafe by a competent electrician (which I had to hire as on the last day Perkins Plumbing informed me he could not certify them). He did not earth the electrics in the bathroom despite installing metal fixtures, did not use bathroom safe spotlights, amongst other things.

The mess left behind was far too excessive.

What should have been a great experience with a fabulous bathroom at the end of it, we had a few weeks after completion of stress, cost and upset trying to rectify the poor standard of work caused by Perkins Plumbing.

The actual plumbing work (installation of the bath, sink, stack and toilet) seems to be of a good standard with no issues - so it does appear that he is okay at that aspect.

If you've had electrical work conducted in a bathroom in the past by Perkins Plumbing, I urge you to contact a competent electrician to check it is done to standard, for your safety!

If you have had previous gas work done by Perkins Plumbing, contact Gas Safe, ours was unsafe and a safety risk - yours could be too!!!!

AVOID if you value your safety!!!!

I have used Perkins Plumbing to change taps and install shower, fit replacement radiators and service our boiler. Friendly and efficient at a reasonable price. Highly recommend their services and will use again.

I have used Perkins Plumbing for several years before and recommended Kel to a number of friends and family as well as a few private landlords that we know (who have all been happy with his work) so decided to give him a call, it was late and I was happy to leave a message for him to pick up in the morning.

About half an hour or so later, I received a call from Perkins Plumbing. He arranged to come first thing to assess the boiler.

He arrived on time. Looked at the boiler and ordered the parts that needed replacing. They didn't take long to come and was back at mine fixing the boiler. He found that the boiler had totally had it and the parts he ordered were then not needed (I wasn't charged for the parts)

On the advice of Perkins Plumbing, we decided on what boiler we wanted and it was ordered. Again it arrived within the week, (as it was December he even provided heaters as our only heat are the radiators)

He promptly fitted it and had it running. He cleaned up and took all his rubbish away with him.

I will only use and recommend Perkins Plumbing and can't rate him high enough.

We have had Kelwyn out a couple of times for various things (leaky toilet, heating repair and boiler repair). He always arrives when he says he will, he thoroughly discusses what he plans to do in detail with you and always checks you’re happy with what he is doing before he proceeds. He is polite and does a really good job and I will continue to use him for our plumbing works as long as he is available. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

Arrived on time, kept in touch about model number of the new tap that was due to be fitted and explained exactly what needed to be done to fit the new purchased tap. A great team of plumbers arrived, who clearly know what they’re doing. Very pleased and will be using their services again.

Kelwyn has done quite a few jobs for us recently. His work is excellent, he turns up on time, and leaves the place clean and tidy. Recommend his services.

I called Perkins plumbing for a boiler service and boiler repair, he arrived on time after fitting the job in at the weekend, did a fast diagnostic then supplied and fitted the parts. Would definitely call him first when needing any plumbing or boiler service
