Anglia Gas Services

We have previously used Anglia Gas Services for several years to service our old boiler when an older chap use to do the servicing. We had not serviced the boiler for a couple of years due to Covid and were sadly told the older chap had passed away. The new chap called Dan turned up performed some tests and then told me there was a gas leak on the valve and we would need to pay an extra £240 + vat for a new gas valve to be fitted.

This seemed a bit odd to me as everything had been working fine without any issues. He however capped off our gas meter and stuck a sticker on the boiler which was now supposedly unsafe.

I decided to get another opinion and booked a different gas engineer company to perform another boiler inspection. My suspicions seemed to be validated as he could not discover any leaks whatsoever - make of this what you will!

Jon, Matt and their team provided an outstanding service when I called on them to assist in locating a leak in my house. A very quick response time on a Sunday, with temporary repairs put in place until parts were available after the bank holiday. They revisited at the agreed time to complete the work. Extremely professional, polite, diligent and thorough, I can't recommend them strongly enough. I have used Jon and Matt's company before and they have always been outstanding. Definitely my first and only company to contact for all things plumbing and heating.
