ERG Plumbing

This is a scam
They took money off my credit card without any warning or explanation.
We rang to see about a plumber to do a radiator and outdoors tap. They promised the job could be done the same day, they took my credit card number. A man came round to look a few days later, he said ERG are a call centre not a plumbers and overcharge so to go through the work through him privately but he couldn’t do the work for some time. We still haven’t heard from him. We got an overinflated charge from ERG and then noticed £150 charge on our credit card with no warning. When I rang them they talked nonsense about diagnostics and supply of the tap and radiator and wouldn’t refund the money. The lady on the phone was very cheeky. We now feel we need to change our credit card as a fraudulent charge was taken.

This is not a local plumbing company!! It is just a call centre who take your card details and charge £150 for someone coming out to have a LOOK at the job!!! They have previously been on Rouge Traders!!

Booked for a next day appointment between 8am and 12pm, booked the time off work. Received a call at 11am saying they were too busy and unable to make it before 5.30pm.
When challenged the costumer service rep became rude and basically said that if I didn't want the change of time for the appointment then I should cancel it.
Rude, unhelpful, terrible experience.

Complete joke - DO NOT USE
Failed to turn up three times in a row.
On the 4th attempt the 'plumber' took a look and said "I'm not wasting my time with that tonight" and left without putting the washing machine back in place.
He was also EXTREMELY rude, dismissive of any questions and confrontational. When asked about the previous no-shows his response was "What are you, my boss?"
Avoid like the plague.
