Superb. New in the area and just popped here to get a part they didn't have at Homebase round the corner. Now I've found it I'll never go back to Homebase again. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, large selection of tools and equipment, decent prices. A great place to have in the neighbourhood.

Good local hardware store, a dying (maybe dead) breed and worth supporting. Very knowledgeable and appear to stock an amazing range given the size of the store. Can also compete with the majors in terms of prices for basics and always helpful service. Very good.

Popped in to find parts for a tricky plumbing task. They couldn't have been more helpful and ended up creating a bespoke fix. Thanks guys. Fabulous service

I popped in there en route to Homebase to find a part that was missing in my under sink plumbing. I was informed the part didn’t actually exist and true enough it didn’t. They advised me to take some photos of the assembly and call back.

Over the next 4 days I returned every day to collect a new part only to be thwarted by my difficult irregular (and botched) installation and odd sink couplings but Daniel who works there didn’t give up. They took the unopened parts back no quibble (keep the receipt and don’t open the bag unless you are 100% sure it’s going to fit) and suggested a complete remodel. Again we hit problems but every time they came up with a solution.

At some point it was suggested that I maybe should get a plumber but i’ve had 2 plumbers out and the best part of £400 only for them to glue the missing part I was determined to do it myself properly this time so we soldiered on and glad to say in a flash of inspiration they came up with a solution that cost less than £25 and it works.

So thank you all the staff there definitely if you need a part or a pipe, a coupling or some basic trade knowledge to help you do it yourself these are the local guys to go to. Highly recommended. Try getting that level of service at Homebase!

Good place for all DIY. No queueing, knowledgeable staff,fast service and prices mostly cheaper than the big stores.

Lynbo is a short walk away from me. He's my first point of call and gives me good advice if he hasn't got it in his shop. I trust him.

Excellent place to go for plumbing needs. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff that can help advise what you need. Don't bother with homebase.
