I spent over £4000 buying a bathroom and cloakroom. The sales lady, Michelle, was very helpful when making the sale. We had two problems, one with a screw that was missing from a shower cradle, that was an ex showroom display item. I took the cradle back to Michelle and she ordered a replacement from the supplier which arrived by post, no problem. We subsequently had a leak which was caused by a ring washer on a tap - this caused a problem which resulted in us having to lift up a newly laid tiled floor. Such is life so I took the offending item back to see Michelle and asked for a ring washer replacement. When I arrived the first thing she said was you again. I asked what that was about and she said I know your problem and the part is not at fault, your using an Eastern European. I left at this point, went downstairs and the chaps at the service desk were great. A ring washer was found, I was happy, and I put money in the charity box. Michelle I hope you read this and take note - customer service is key to a good business. You know your products but your customer service skills are non existent. You made me lived hence this review.

As a tradesman I have a cash account with plumbase. I got quoted £40 for items that I then got in Williams merchants for £20. I won't be using them again for anything and will travel the distance to a Williams. I've had enough of getting ripped off by this firm and others that have different terms for different branches. Williams have the same prices throughout.
