The world seems a good place when you are communicating with a person. Spent couple of hours online trying to first identify and then source a specific pipe seal. Visited their shop and all was sorted in no time.

Went there to look for a cartridge for a mixer tap. I took the cartridge with me. The man who served me can't even be bothered to take a look at it and told me that it was almost impossible to find one similar to mine since it was like "finding a needle in a haystack" without the brand of tap (?). The cartridge had a big ID code written on it, but hey you have to look at it to see it I'm afraid. Maybe too much effort for the guy. Anyway, I went back to my car and with a simple Google search I found many haystacks had the part I was looking for: Screwfix, B&Q etc!. Went to one and problem solved. Do like me: find a different haystack.

Needed to fix dripping kitchen tap, and trying to find the right ceramic cartridges on web sites was impossible with my plumbing skills. Staff member very helpful, sold me the right cartridges and now the tap doesn’t drip!!
