On the 13th of June 2016 I attended The Letchworth Clinic with a
painful in-growing toe-nail, (not rocket science you would think?) as I was working in the area.

The male podiatrist looked at it, poked around a bit, hurt me, stated
that he couldn't find anything and relieved me £30.00

8 days of horrible pain later I saw a chiropodist near where I live in Cambridgeshire who removed not one but two ingrowing nail spikes, thus instantly curing the problem. These guys were not interested in giving me a refund either!!
If you have money to burn and really love pain then these are the people for you, personally I wouldn't touch them again with a bargepole.

Having tried every possible product to rid my daughter's feet of verrucas I was beginning to lose all hope that we would ever be able to remove them. She had suffered for four years, with them spreading across the bottoms of both feet and on her toes, when I came across The Letchworth Clinic. I found the website to be informative and decided I had nothing to lose by making an appointment for a consultation. It was the best decision I made that day. Graeme was very helpful during our initial consultation, he explained clearly the options we had and a date was set to treat both feet using the laser removal treatment option. My daughter opted for local anaesthetic - not easy for a child, but she coped well with Graeme's reassurance and before long the first round of 57 laser shots were fired into her feet. The result has been amazing! There was no discomfort following the first treatment, just under one month ago, and at our follow up appointment today for the second round, most of the verrucas have completely disappeared. My daughter was able to have her second treatment without the anaesthetic, this time needing only 17 laser shots, which will hopefully remove the final verruca remnants on her feet. My daughter finds needles and pain difficult to handle, but today she coped amazingly and Graeme was fantastic at praising her and making her feel good about herself. I cannot thank him enough for the help, advice and care he has given to us and would highly recommend the laser removal to treat verrucas, as this has been the most effective method for us in removing long term, unsightly verrucas. We would use this method again before any over the counter products in the future, should the need arise.
Thank you!

I attended the Letchworth Clinic with my 12 year old daughter to have a small / medium wart to be removed from her knee. We had a brief consultation with Graham who advised that the liquid nitrogen treatment is cheaper but more than two treatments would be required or we could opt for the laser treatment the cost would be £200 but assured me that two treatments would be required to remove the whole wart. My daughter wanted a quick fix so we opted for the laser treatment. Six weeks later from the last treatment and half of the wart still remains. I called to inform the clinic and was advised that there would be an additional cost for the rest of the removal which I refused to pay as I was assured by Graham that two treatments would remove the whole wart, if I had known there was a chance of this happening I would have opted for the liquid nitrogen at a much cheaper cost. I was then called back and told that as a gesture of good will that I wouldn’t be charged, personally I don’t think that an additional charge for further treatment should have come about in converstion as the wart should have been removed in the two treatments as advised. What I would have expected was to be told not to worry, an appointment to be booked to have the remainder to be removed. I never did return as I thought this was bad service and a long way to travel for this to happen again and possibly advised I would have to pay more for full removal.

I cannot recommend any facial laser treatments here. In 2019 I had two sessions of thread vein treatment, the first treatment made no difference, the second treatment also included a facial rejuvenation with a focus to improve a faint horizontal scar at the side of my nose on the left side. On the second session straight after the rejuvenation Emma blasted the left side of my nose for red vein treatment which was extremely painful and very hot, she knew this as she apologised and said the treatment seems 'wicked' but will help. After the session the area felt very hot, I visited the loo at the clinic to look at my face in the mirror and a bump had quickly formed, I was concerned and showed Emma who looked at it and casually said 'it's fine, its already looking better as the scar had lifted out'. The next day I realised I had been badly burnt and the bump was now a large blister. I contacted the clinic to tell them and they cancelled my next appointment. The receptionist was very helpful and said they would get Emma to call me a week later on her return (she only works on Monday's). Emma called me 6 days later and asked me if I had been picking at the area and also commented that the skin was 'too thin' for this type of laser treatment, she deflected all the responsibility back at me and was far too cavalier about the situation. She didn't even seem interested in looking at the burn in person. The original faint scar that I had turned into a large purple atrophic scar where she had burnt me. If she thought my skin was unsuitable for the treatment then she should have told me this before commencing the treatment. I am now receiving scar reduction treatment by CO2 Laser with subscision at 152 Harley Street (The London Scar Clinic) under Dr Craythorne. Emma at the Letchworth Clinic didn't even provide a test patch prior to commencing the treatments for red vein and scar improvement, she didn't actively cool the treated areas during and after the treatment to reduce bulk heating and had no place in carrying out the treatments using medical graded laser equipment. Perhaps the laser machine is used for treating fungal nail infections, but in the wrong hands this equipment is dangerous to use on the face. Emma told me she teaches beauty therapy but this is not the same as being a laser specialist. Her treatment and lack of aftercare seriously fall short of standards. I am now halfway through my scar reduction treatment with a 30% improvement to the atrophic scar caused by the thermal burn which will cost me about 3.5k once it's all complete. For anyone looking at cosmetic laser treatments at this clinic then think twice, go to a trained doctor, not a beauty therapist. Your face deserves better.

Saw a wonderful woman today who totally put me at ease and explained everything in great detail. Speaking with her today filled me with confidence and for the first time in years was able to show the real me. The consultation itself was a lovely experience and I look forward to the actual treatment. Will post update at that time and review again after treatment. Thank you Emma for your kind words and patient manner, today you gave a lady hope.

I had been suffering with a verruca for a couple of years, and after trying numerous drugstore products it was still there and I was still in pain. A friend recommended that I go to the Letchworth clinic. After a quick consultation with Graham and 2 laser treatments later (which were great value!) the verruca had gone and I was no longer in pain. I could not recommend this clinic enough with its friendly staff and effective treatments!

After opting for laser treatment of a verruca that had been present for many years that had become painful, I visited Graeme to begin treatment. I was advised that 2 treatments in most cases would be sufficient but unfortunately after 4 laser treatments the verruca is still present and painful. After a discussion concerning costs, Graeme agreed to continue the treatment free of charge and did so for one additional treatment (no.4). I've since decided not to return to the clinic so have essentially wasted more than £300 plus travel costs.

After receiving double Nail surgery from the Letchworth Clinic to remove ingrowing toenails I had relief for just over a year for the cost of around £500.
Unfortunately I must have fell into the "5%" bracket for a chance of regrowth when I started to experience pain again. After forking out for two additional appointments around £30 each and being told they wanted another £300 to remove the failed ingrowing Nail I'd had enough.

After booking in Elsewhere for the surgery for £175 and being told if it failed the company policy was to re do the treatment for no cost. I felt like i had been swindled by the Letchworth Clinic
They would have also done the Orginal double Nail treatment for £220 two toes.

The size of the ingrowing Nail removed from another chiropodist the second time was huge and as I was told had clearly been in there along time.
Would not recommend.
