Great service from Kate today. She really took her time with me, bringing loads of styles, sizes and width fittings to ensure that I got just the right fit. Also gave me tips on stretches that would help my specific issue, and gave me plenty of time to try each trainer on their treadmill.
I would highly recommend a visit to Podplus, particularly if you are getting into running. The right shoes are so important. No hard sell either. Thanks Kate.

Thanks to Kate, Linda and the team for help when I came in looking for some running accessories. It was great to have expert help on hand and the items I purchased were perfect! They were exactly what I needed and made running my first half in a long while a lot easier :) Super easy to park and pop in, and brilliant 1:1 advice which is fabulous.

This morning my running club, Beginners2Runners had a track session run by Sylvia Barrett from Podplus. Sylvia, took us through some warm ups and stretching techniques, we then ran around the 400m track at various individual paces. I soon clocked up 2k and in a good time....... well, for me 🙂 Many thanks to Sylvia and her assistant who's name escapes me..... an age thing! 😉
After the track event we were invited to look around the shop. I am so pleased I took up the offer. I found a pair of New Balance trainers the same as I have been using at a price I could not refuse!

I had a gait analysis done by the very skilled Kate, who then found me the perfect running trainers. I have worn them for a 5 mile run yesterday and they are fantastic. All at a very good price, too. Many thanks Podplus

Went in to the pod plus shop needing a new pair of shoes, had concerns about being socially distanced for buying shoes. Was completely unnecessary as they had everything secure. I was able to find a wide fitting trail trainer for myself and my daughter suffers with narrow flat feet and they were even able to find a suitable trainer for her as well. The staff were super knowledgeable and couldn’t do anymore to help.

I would definitely recommend Podplus for a footwear review. I had a couple of small injuries do decided to seek some advise and invest in some new trainers. Podplus were fantastic - Kate was very welcoming, friendly and also very knowledgeable. Good selection of trainers and I purchased a super-comfortable new pair of running trainers. Excellent service - definitely recommend.

All that and her kind personal approach made buying shoes an easy and enjoyable process (which is not always the case for me). Kate helped me in our online consultation followed by virtual shoe fitting session to pick the best running outdoor shoes that I’ve had so far. Fitting brilliantly!
