Earlier this week I stood on a thorny branch and one tiny thorn went deep into the sole of my foot. Over the next 24 hours it got more and more painful, so I made an appointment at the foot clinic. I'm glad to say they fitted me in the very next day, as my foot was already becoming infected.
I was a little nervous as I was sure that removing the thorn would be painful, but I needn't have worried. The podiatrist was really professional but also caring and super gentle. Not only did she remove the thorn, she also dealt with a couple of corns and calluses. I cannot praise her enough. A big, big thank you!
