Yeah the NEW Carter Street nick is a stones throw from Walworth Rd..well worth a visit

Incredibly slow, without any number or ticket to be taken or reception to be asked, nothing. Only a police woman sitting behind the window and doing nothing but watching lots of people waiting outside for at least an hour, then said we can use internet or what else for our issue. Shame on them.

My first encounter with being 'the wrong side of the law', (XR Rebellion).

I found everyone I interacted with to be professional and respectful.

Yeah... being put in a cell for the first time was a bummer, but it is the politicians that are at fault and let's not ever forget we're going to need people such as this more than ever, in the very near future, as our society disintegrates due to Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss.

I could never do their job... It's a thankless task... So I sincerely hope the Officers and Staff I met at Walworth Police Station will manage to maintain as much moral integrity as they can (& humour!) as the political pressure increases exponentially for those in their position to act inappropriately.

Good luck Walworth Police Station!! You are all, (as well as the rest of us!!), going to need to stay aware as to what is really going on around us!!

I was arrested for possession of a reproduction Viking longsword, blunted and secured in a scabbard. I was detained for 9 hours and subsequently released without charge, given no documentation and not asked to sign any. My property has not thus far been returned and no satisfacty explanation has been given for this, although I suspect that the officer who arrested me now has a new piece of wall decor. Disgusting.

Got handcuffed by a couple of tasty fella’s. Proper friendly like. Total vibes. I come here most weekends,ask for Steve in reception. Does a wicked all day breakfast.

They only have one person behind the counter area, I have been waiting for a hour and 15 mins to see someone, and there is about 9/10 other people waiting..
How are we meant to have faith in the police system.

The amount of officers that have walked in and out and not asked any of us if there is anything they can do to help is a joke

Absolutely disgraceful. Not one decent officer. I suggest the new head of the Met stands outside this police station and records what he is dealing with. A disgrace to decent hard working officers who serve the public.

One of the few remaining police stations open in this area of London operating a maximum of 3 people in reception due to covid regulations, desk staff can be quite painful considering they are public servants a lesson in manners wouldn't go strafe, highly efficient service
