Gloucester Police Station

Why no phone number? Even police stations with phone numbers have nobody to speak to these days and fob you off with a recorded message. This is supposed to be the police hq for Gloucestershire isn't it, and no contact by phone?

The control room take you seriously and are completely professional, however, and a BIG however, the police woman that decided to tell me her definition of ‘racism’ was totally inappropriate. Saying a ‘pickernilly’ was An acceptable name to call someone!!! Uhhh, I don’t think so! Disgusting excuse for what ‘Police’ should Stan for.

yesterday deen by a family ,distancing with
children, saw that groups of youngsters were
still playing Football together .
The park is near to Barnwood area .
with a childs play apparatus area, not the
arboritum in barnwood .
This is clearly not good for a daily walk , if this
continues.

The officer on the desk and duty inspector yesterday handled our case / incident superbly and could not have been more helpful. This praise extends out to the attending officers at a road traffic incident on Wednesday night.

Provision of needed advise started chaotic having directed me to go from one distant point to another- but the final set of people who assisted me with my case were excellent. Beating the transport problem from Oxford to Gloucester (during the lockdown) and back was extremely challenging but having my concern dealt with promptly and effectively by two ladies in the reception on 13th January, 2021 made a lot of difference.

Many years ago my mother was found dead at her home in Gloucester. When I came to collect the house keys from the station the officer that met me was laughing and practically making fun of the entire scenario. I’ve never felt so humiliated and insulted in my life. Very backward people with zero empathy.
