From the first call I made the staff here have been super helpful and friendly. They were able to make suggestions based on our sense of style and home set up, guided us with the design and were always responsive as well as proactively keeping me up to date on the status of my order. We live our new tank and cabinet and I cannot wait to start welcoming some fish again with their help and guidance. The store has everything you could need.

Extremely helpful, great advice and friendly staff. Huge selection of everything to choose from.
Hugely beneficial for the new/novice fish keeper.
Will definitely be a regular customer here.

Back again, for a second tank, and everything associated with it, all done in one trip, excellent service and knowledge, top class.

Absolutely awful. Seem like they don't have a care in the world for the fish or any form of knowledge about fish or there accommodation for the size of them. when i asked a price about an ancistrus they said to me the ancistrus have all sold and only bristle noses are left. they actually had no idea they are the same fish when i said they are the same they argued with me and told me that an ancistrus is completely different to a bristle nose. Quite shocked as any novice could even point out they are the same. The tanks are disgusting there are fish in tanks that are two small for 5 guppies let alone a fish that is around 13 inches in size where it couldn't even turn around it just swam forward and then swam back I mean the tank was around a foot and a half long by about a foot high and the fish was atleast 13 inches in size also so many tanks had dead fish in. Some tanks with the gold fish in some of the gold fish had severe tail nips due to the amount of them in there and them being cramped. The live plants were dieing it was just an awful experience the place just looks like a junk yard i remember years ago this used to be such a lovely place now I would consider it lower in regards to fish care and fish hygiene and knowledge than pets at home. Also what is with the second hand baby toys and the home made jewellery seems like it's a jack of all trades now but my advice stay clear and I have also reported this shop due to the fish conditions and hygiene and the fish care.

Advertised as the largest aquatic shop in the UK.
It isn’t.
It’s a nice little shop for basic aquatics.
It has a nice atmosphere, however, even if I lived on the same road I would probably only pop in for live food and go elsewhere for anything else. It really isn’t worth a visit.

visited here once before so decided to return. i saw a large tinfoil barb in the tank and decided i wanted to purchase him. after the lady had bagged him up she then decided to tell me that he has a fugal infection, which was fine as she said she’d give me some treatment to go with him. thinking there would be no extra charge she took me to the medicine and gave me the biggest bottle costing £21 i then questioned if i’d have to pay for this medicine to which she said yes. i left the fish as that is ridiculous, 1 charging £30 for a sick fish and 2 charging me for the bloody medication too! the cheek of it !! will not be returning here although george was absolutely lovely which is such a shame as the lady has let this fish shop down.

Drove almost an hour to visit this store after reading the reviews and was honestly disgusted.
Very small and cramped store which is understandable, however it looked very unkempt with a strange odour.
After looking at all the tanks setup I was disgusted and promptly left. I’ve never seen so many dead fish in an aquatic store before - I understand that they may not have had time but when all employees were sat around talking I think that’s an ideal time to remove these - almost every section I looked in there was a few dead fish or even the remnants of one that’s been eaten (obviously been left in there long enough).
Tank maintenance is terrible, a few looked clean but nothing like it shows online. A quick clean never hurts. Bettas kept in absolutely tiny, algae infested tanks and look insanely depressing. More of a horrible sight to see than a disappointment, it’s not hard to put a bit of effort in for the sake of these living things!!
Absolutely will never go back. I really hope the owners take better care of their fish.
