Small but perfect for what we need. They fit a lot of selection in a small shop. Lots of praise go to the staff who are excellent, always friendly and helpful. We mainly visit for the selection of Dog food 🐶, dry wet and raw(frozen). Over the years we have also purchased our pond fish from here. On our visits is nice to wander around and look at wide variety in their tropical fish selection.

Used Gatleys quite a few times now and what fantastic service and advice I have had trust me they know there stuff and there plants are so good had 8 lilies so far and lots of other plants every one is doing well.

Friendly family run business, been buying bird food from them for years and we'd take the kids in to look at the fish! Now, finally we've bought our own aquarium and some beautiful fish!

Well stocked for pet and pond supplies, conveniently located with loads of parking at the garden centre, pricing comparable to other similar shops in the area, but I have stopped using them because they still sell small furrries and birds. The birds are in tiny, short cages and can barely move around, let alone fly. The rabbits I saw last time I was there were the same. I suspect the small furries are for snake food. Stop supporting breeders and allow rescued animals to find a home please.

Enquired about a pond, given excellent advice. No pushy sell. Left with knowledge, spent overnight debating and phoned back, spoke to a different person but same experience. Can't fault. We now have an above ground pond 😀
