Caister On Sea Post Office

I went there yesterday instead of Tesco which was closed because it was a Bank Holiday Monday. I was very disappointed that they didn't sell Jaffa Cakes, but only a Happy Shopper version and the Ben & Jerry's ice cream was priced at £5.49, which is quite expensive as it is normally £5.00 or even £3.50 at McColls and I was even more disappointed when I got home to try the ice cream and it tasted strange. My family said it was probably frozen for too long because it tasted more of ice than ice cream. I personally wouldn't shop there again and I would have rather waited until Tesco opened to be honest.

Food out of date by 2 months past best before and full price. Meat products with use by 2 days out of date. This place is a health risk and needs someone from the council to come and check this place out I think it would be shut down

Looked online for my nearest Post Office that does “Label free returns”.
Caister-on-Sea was open so I drove there only to find the PO counter was closed and a notice requesting we use the shopfront counter, the lady obliged by taking the parcel and scanned the code on my phone, she then said “ I have all the return details but cannot print a label because the printer is in the PO counter “ ( which is closed ) 😡.
So the PO shouldn’t have advertised being open when it was not....and totally waisted our time.

Went to post a parcel. At a post office! Imagine!! Was served by the most miserable woman EVER. if you have the cheek to want to post an item i suggest you go elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusting staff owner.....so rude and shop is filthy. What a shame this once caister icon has become a place to avoid

Just had another delivery failure because they lie about their opening hours. Useless! Will never use this shop again once I finally get my delivery.

I alwayyyyys have an issue with this post office. 1) The opening hours aren't correct. I have been in there at half 5 and they are already cashing up. 2) The people who work behind the counter are actually quite rude & unhelpful. Only the young boy who works there is helpful and polite. 3) I have sent 3 items back in the past 2 weeks, all 3 of those things haven't been delivered to its intended destination. I then decided to use a different method of returning items for other parcels (Hermes drop off) and they have been returned and processed in a week. I am always reluctant to go into this post office as it seems like everything I ask them to do is too much effort. Would rather travel out of my way and go to a different post office.

No one on till in evening, forever waiting for service.
Owner seems to store his personal (cooked and un cooked) food behind drinks in refrigerator. Out of date food and dirty shop. Expensive prices and rude service, avoid!
