Clitheroe Post Office

Very sad when it was modernised, used to have a lovely old post office smell and feel.
Service hasn't suffered though since it was turned it was brought into the 21st century with false ceilings and plastic counters.
Staff very helpful and always an enjoyable experience to visit rather than a chore.
Parking not brilliant if you've to carry a heavy parcel in tho but it is town centre so to be expected

Only 2 members of staff working at very busy times, i had to wait outside in the pouring rain for 20 minutes just to post one parcel. There seems to be a lack of urgency at times even when the queue is stretching across town.
Overall its good friendly service however more staff is needed at times.

Better if had electric disabled scooters would keep a lot more local customers, who have to travel 25 ..30 mile round trips so they can use electric scooters ,please 🙏 take into consideration, thanks Darren leecy x peace and happiness to all x

Fabulous service. The staff member who served me couldn't have been more helpful. Took their time to sort out my small parcels and made suggestions to save me money. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

Where else can you go to do banking these days ? Excellent service , travel money , posting and lots to buy! We’d be lost without this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great post office, the staff are helpful, efficient and seem generally content in their roles which is more than can be said for some other Post Office branches I've used over the years. I regularly pop in on average probably once a week to post something I've sold.

Dislike this post office.... will always try to 'upsell'. Just brought an envelope in - cashier put it in the measuring device at an angle so it wouldn't go in so had to pay the next prive up. Avoid at all cost.

Just tried to update review so apologies for posting same review twice.... I was reminded of my review yesterday when an item if the same size and weigh and thickness as I sent at the time was posted through my door yesterday.... there wasn't a problem with it. My original item wasn't in a jiffy bag as you stated in your reply to me, it wasn't padded, it was flat cardboard.

I have not been back to your branch since, there are other post offices who do not upsell as you do that I choose to use now.

Nice staff. Not to long to wait to be serviced 😊
