If I could score zero stars I would. The team are abrupt and unhelpful and even worse factually wrong. I was told today that to get a new travel money card I needed to call up - WRONG!!! You can can get them in the branch.

They leave a card telling you to return to THIS post office for a missed parcel, and (after taking time out of a working day as that's the only time they're apparently open, going into the town centre, paying for parking etc.) there is a note on the wall saying Closed for X weeks and to reorganise delivery online. Why not just put that on the hand written card?!

Very rude staff won't even put stamps on letters or even take them off you . They don't have to lick them .I was sent back outside to post in post box . The bags are in the post office. Never known this is any other area, I'm 60 years old

Absolutely awful service. Received a delivery today from a post man who slammed my parcel on the desk. When ask to be careful as this is work we provide for our patients he responded "your lucky to have this" and walked away. He was not only very rude but has damaged my equipment which now has to be sent away to be repaired. This is disrespectful and extremely rude. I suggest this worker finds another career which does not include working with the public!

Always terrible service. If you have perhaps missed your parcel, I sincerely wish you luck in trying to get it off them. The open hours are always different and you'll likely never find an exact time they'll 100% be open. If you're lucky enough to find the correct times don't be surprised when you have to take time off work or education to pick up your parcel because you'll probably need to. Not only that staff are usually very rude. Postmen don't even bother knocking on my door as we advertise as a commercial building, despite living upstairs. If they do bother they won't wait longer than 2 minutes for you to get the door. Chances of them leaving your parcel where you have asked (neighbours or safe space) is minimal. They quite literally never do. I dont even bother getting parcels to my home address anymore because of lazy postmen. Rather walk to the opposite end of town (Hallgarth to oxenholme) to get my parcel off my partners mother! Unfortunately our main post office is full of lazy individuals who would rather go on pathetic strikes for more money (like they don't get paid enough) than actually do their jobs.

Some of the staff in this post office are appalling. They are hands down the rudest staff I have come across anywhere in Kendal. A full on interrogation over the contents of a pre-paid parcel, none stop questioning even to the point they suggested it was a prohibited item when I had clearly explained the contents. So embarrassing and totally unnecessary. I understand they have to check you aren’t shipping prohibited items but the horrible way this member of staff went about it indicates that some of the time served staff still think it is a nationalised monopoly, not a private company who have just sacked 700 managers because they are losing their competitive edge. I did speak to the branch supervisor who did apologise which was positive but they gave me the impression that this wasn’t an isolated incident.

Staffs are rude!
I printed out my postage label and dropped it at the this post office. This is my 2nd time here. The woman behind the counter asked, in a rude tone:
What's inside? (which is normal question), then
What is your VAT register no?
What is your company name?
I understand that the Post office can ask about what is inside the parcel but not the other details like my company VAT register no., company name, etc. I accepted the T&C when I printed the label out but then I got an interrogated by the PO staff. Will not go in there again if not necessary.
I think Royal Mail should do something staffs attitude in there.
The customer service is appalling!!!
