Burnley Post Office

Shameful customer service !
Lady working today 20th Jan 2021 at 4.30pm was absolutely useless and should not be sitting on that chair if she is not going to put the minimum work on her shifts. After reading other reviews of customers saying the same thing it calls for this lady to be investigated or at least give her some type of warning so she can at least provide a decent customer service that is shameful and insufficient at the moment.
After spending who knows how long chit chatting with a friend despite of the people waiting she would not spend 30 seconds with my request and she seemed on a rush to move on to ...next ! This lady should not be holding her position if she is not able / capable of doing it right. Plenty of talented people out there who would do a much better job to have this people on site. Wont be back if I can avoid it and if I have to I will avoid her at all cost.

The ladies on the desk are always lovely they always let me come to the front of the line because I find hard to walk god bless

The staff are excellent, however they don't have enough staff and i've waited over 30 mins when I arrived at 4.30pm. I advise you to always go before 4pm to avoid the last minute que.

30 minute queue is not unusual here.

Very slow service staff don't seem to car of big queue working realy slow

Very unhappy with the service. Firstly I was told the tracked postage would be £3.00 more at the counter than if I'd bought online through royal mail, no explanation could be given for such a large difference.
I went away and used the online service, printed my label and took it in, then to be told the barcode is not accepted at the post office! Despite me using this service multiple times in a different post office without any issues. Had to rush to the sorting office who said this is a frequent occurrence. Not the first time I've had issues posting a parcel at this branch. Poor service.

Very good service from the main PO as usual. They always go above and beyond for everyone. I think they deserve more credit then they get. They’ve all worked hard through out the whole pandemic never closed. Thought it was about time someone gave them praise instead of all the ungrateful negative comments. Will definitely recommend this PO to everyone.

Here's a tip to avoid annoyed and disgruntled customers. If you KNOW you're not going to be open update your opening times! Drove over specifically to find they are closed on Wednesdays
