On her return, she has a little chat with a colleague and then aknowledges that I'm there for the first time. Then there is about a 30 second search for my parcel - she tells me it isn't there and that the post office address I gave her was the other post office in Fair Oak.
So I go there - it isn't them!
I go back to this one. I'm a little annoyed (I'm a key worker - I get up at 5am and it was 5pm and work is quite tiring and stressful at the best of times - nevermind with Covid 19, so I'm annoyed at this waste of time). I tell her that the other post office isn't the right one and that the parcel is here. Without looking again, she says it isn't, so I look on my Phone and it says it is.
"I'm not being spoken to like that from someone like you!" (which I thought was rude - I was annoyed, but I didn't shout, I didn't swear and I didn't say anything personal and what does "someone like you" mean? So now she gets personal and behaves rudely.
After telling her that she just sent me on a bike ride around fair oak when I had much better things to do with my time she tells me "You could do with the exercise".
When I told my wife and described the PO worker, she had a few examples of her poor customer service skills too. Rude, shouting and not very curteous. If I behaved that way at work, I wouldn't be a key worker for much longer...
Think I'll take my post office requirements to the other post office in Fair Oak. They were far more curteous and helpful. Wanting to see my email, checking their boxes and even apologising!
Never open, never helpfull (for the last two months)

I’ve just gotten back from a very unfortunate experience trying to send a package to America. The woman behind the counter was extremely unfriendly and was not welcoming to any questions around increasing the insurance on the product.
After I was finished filling out the customs form, the lady informed me to go to the back of the queue but luckily the people in the queue were very nice and refused to let her send me to the back.
