Gotherington Post Office

What a gem. A true community hub. A great place to sit and relax over coffee. Books to read. Craft table for children. So friendly, time passes quickly. Local crafts to purchase, small convenience purchases and a post office. Meet with friends or go on your own, you will be left in peace or you can chat with others. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff and a nice place to have a hot chocolate. Tasty muffins! Free Wi-Fi and funky radio station.

Great new team that's taken gotherington shop over. I've lived here my whole life and the previous owners have all been useless. At least these guys are putting themselves out there, so make sure you support this local buisness!

This is under new managment now and has turned the shop in to post office and a local corner shop very well laid out very friendly and helpful staff. Curries from Bermingham sold here at very reasonable prices and also have an off licence worth a visit

The new owners have done a great job. Always open on time with a great selection of produce in the shop. Would be nice to see some freshly baked goods.

Reviewing just the Post Office portion of the shop, not the store as a whole - staff are friendly but hours displayed on Google and the Post Office website aren't maintained (listed as being open when they're closed) and their signage for opening hours on the front of the store is either misleading or out of date as well.

My new go-to post office in the area - whilst the opening hours are quite narrow, the staff friendliness and competence at Gotherington are frankly way above two other larger nearby P.Os. Other reviews here seem to berate the opening times, but I'm quite happy to wait until the afternoon if it means I meet staff that are pleased to see a customer. Thanks Gotherington Post Office.
