Thaxted Post Office

I had just about the rudest encounter from the post office employee I have ever received.

Customer service obviously isn't a high priority for this establishment.

I recommend that if you want to purchase cheap tatt, then you may want to go elsewhere.

Not friendly at all, didn’t even say hello. Didn’t understand that we had a parcel delivered there a couple of days ago and just said we had to have a card then went out the back to look and told me there was nothing under the name when it states clearly it’s been delivered there. Although it’s my nearest post office I will GLADLY travel to another town as at least they are helpful and at the least say hello.

This post office is the best for customer service. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff .A real community post office.

Please keep supporting them, they have been brilliant through both lockdowns.

Always friendly and polite to me. I use the PO several times a week and have always found them helpful.

Dunmow post office is an 11 minute drive from this post office.

If we assume a generous 5 minutes to park then that makes it a 26 minute round trip.

Considering I have just queued for 33 minutes to post 3 packages that would have represented a 7 minute improvement and a worthy investment in my mental health.

Yes its nice living somewhere with a slower pace of life but when people say "Thats Thaxted" as an excuse for providing poor customer service then that's just not acceptable. This place needs new management quicker than I need an ibuprofen to rid myself of the stress headache this PO has inflicted on me.

The rudest most miserably unfriendly people ever to inflict themselves on a village post office. They never smile, never say please or thank you, never exchange pleasantries and when I suggested to the younger of the two that they might like to invest in some customer service and people skills, I got a barrage of abuse. I don’t recommend you to use their services unless you are desperate.

Rude, unhelpful and have lost vouchers and a package of school clothes that where deliverd to them by Parcel Force. All evidence shows that it was handed over to a Patel. But their post office is a mess..and they will not go the extrae mile to find your package. As far as I'm concerned this could be classed as theft. Your post is not safe in their hands.They need to sort this out ASAP. .or start paying up for lost parcels that have proof of being handed to the staff in the post office
