So my postman sent my mail to another address that had the same number as mine and to start I was stressed as I wasn't at my home address and I was meant to leave the same night. After seeing the reviews for this place I thought I'd get nothing from going but I was pleasently surprised when I was greeted with a warm welcome from Becky. To start, I left the house to go here because in this moment I didn't know that my parcel was delivered as my intentions was to come see if Maybe they still had it at the service point since I didn't receive it. so I left excited thinking my issue was resolved. However when I got back, this was when I realised my postman sent it to another address as its a common mistake and I asked the resident at the other address about it and He told me he handed back the parcel after signing it.. which explains why it said delivered.. so I went back stressed once again to see what was up and if I could find my parcel there. When I got to the service point once again, Becky was busy with another customer so I was talking to another member of staff but he was quick to dismiss it and told me to come back tomorrow and that was it but I really needed it that day. when she saw me and heard my situation she took it on herself to solve it and let me stay so she could take it further for me instead of calling it quits for me. Becky again used all her efforts to assure me that I'd get my parcel and asked for my details and phone number and said she'll give me a call when and if she finds my parcel and she really did! I ended up getting my package today and I'm so appreciative of her help! she even made my mail priority which I really appreciated as I was is a hurry. Absolutely she done her job amazingly!! :) :)
The woman at the desk went to the back to speak to her colleague about our issue, then a lady with red hair in a ponytail came storming through, in a hostile tone, borderline shouting and was exceptionally rude. We were both taken aback from this tone since we were polite and respectful, and expected the same back as customers.
We got no advice whatsoever, apart from the excuse of “Royal Mail have been on strike” repeatedly.
This we understand, but other people who have purchased on the same day as us have already received their parcel today! We did not wish to be dismissed and shouted at. We were hoping to see Becky as she is the only worker who has been understanding and speaks to customers humanely and actually helped with our last enquiry.
