Pembury Post Office

Kind helpful staff, however it is difficult to park here. Otherwise a very good little post office.

This is now the post office for pembury as well as the shop

Fast efficient, just wanted a bottle of milk.

Possibly the rudest, least helpful, abrupt and obstructive staff I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. I've not written this lightly, as I was willing to forgive anyone for having an 'off-day', but after what is now the fifth occasion of staff being dismissive of either a) creating your own postage labels at home, b) refusing to accept Ebay Royal Mail parcels as "we don't make any money from them", c) being tutted at and d) no sign of a "please" or "thank you", let alone "hello" or "goodbye" I have now tired of attempting to be polite to have nothing reciprocated. A travesty to the name of the small, village Post Office - if every outlet was like this, they would all be closed in a matter of months. Sadly, as this is the only one for 3 to 4 miles around, other options for customers are limited.

Come on folks who work there...there's real people who use you and their custom keeps you in business. Try raising a smile - even if it is behind a mask - as at least your voice and even your eyes could be friendlier and more helpful. If you do, I'm willing to upgrade my current 1 star rating to something better.

I would give it a ZERO star if possible. Absolute no respect or gratitude towards the customer at post office. I will also make a complaint to the post office for this. I had purchased online shipping(Click and drop) and went there to drop my parcels. The men on the post office counter thinks we (CUSTOMERS) have no knowledge whatsoever. I asked for the proof of postage and he claims the system does not generate the proof of purchase, which is an utter lie because I know it does. Anyway, he did not provided the proof of postage and now one of the parcel is lost during the transit. I can not make a claim with Royal mail because I don't have proof of postage. POSSIBLY THE RUDEST STAFF AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ANY POST OFFICE....SIMPLY AVOID THEM AND MAKE A LITTLE JOURNEY TO TOWN AND YOU HAVE MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.

It may open at 6am like it says but the post office opens at 9 apparently, not helpful carrying armfuls of post only to be turned away
