Sittingbourne Post Office

Service is extremely slow in branch or for house deliveries. First moved to the area in 2014 when post was always delivered by 10am, now its hardly ever delivered with a lot of parcels/letters simply going missing. Compared to other parts of the country where we have lived this is the worst I have ever had, simply shocking.

Went in today 20.06,22 to renew passports was told machine was down? And to come back in a few days! Already paid for 1 hour parking. Not good, asked for a phone number, it took them 5 mns to find? I bet when I try I won't be able to get through .... wait and see ...

Queues out of the door and out of 5 tills only ever two open and then they close one so the person can sit there sorting out their tray or go an deal with the useless self serve machines.
They look at the queue out of the door but never think of getting someone to open another till.
Worst service and really unhelpful and rude staff.
Only go down there if I have a few hours spare as the service is so dire.
Whoever the manager is there, he/she needs to sort that place out.

Went to collect a parcel. Arrived at 5:25pm. Multiple signage stating closing time is 6pm yet all the lights were off and the doors were locked. Waste of my time

I am new local resident. I use the Royal Mail a lot but this branch have a problem. They have the self service tills but they never work. Always is long queue, because just one Royal Mail brach is at Sittingbourne town. Very strange just one. I recommend to use Drop & Go service. This the best option to avoid the queue.

States it open till 5.30pm online. Just got there...5pm and its shut! Maybe update the new hours on line!

Self Service never work. Staff depentant on who it is can be extremely rude.

The eldery people working there are totally usless!!!!
