I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience and not wanted there. How hard is it to crack a smile and say "hello?" Yes this is my nearby post office but I won't be coming back. I'd rather walk the 30 minutes to the other post office to be greeted by a pleasant member of staff! Very disappointed. From someone who has worked in retail. I wouldn't dream of treating a customer like that and expecting much custom.

Post office now closed at 8pm, used to be 10pm.

Went in to send off a parcel and they couldn't be arsed to take 2 steps to the right and print me of a postage label.

Thanks for that community spirit, really helpful 😡

I have used the services of this post office twice. The lady who works there is rude, inpatient, unwilling to help and overall has a terrible attitude towards customers. On top of that, she charged me for a small package when my envelope clearly met the large letter measures. That was the very last time I went to that place.

Popped in absolutely incidentally while visiting a friend: just to post a letter with recorded delivery. The post office was empty: only 1 other customer. A woman had managed "to serve" him almost 20 minutes. Created a queue with 6 people in it. ??? Two other customers came in, waited and left, being disappointed. She was exceptionally slow, ignoring the fact that so many people were waiting in a queue and indulging in a private conversation with that single customer.
What kind of 'service' is that, when a shop assistant isn't bothered to be thorough and efficient, wasting our precious time and creating stress?! It seems quite often that post offices in this country have been monopolised by the laziest and the most unpleasant, who behave as if we are coming to their own home and expecting them to donate one of their kidneys to us! Shame on you!!!
